Happy Halloween!!!

We didn't get one Trick or Treater this year. Halloweens probably just beginning for you guys but Halloweens been over for awhile down here. Such a let down they didn't even have a scary movie on tonight, what a shame.

Well seeing that we down here don't celebrate Halloween with as much gusto as our other earthly neighbor's I thought I'd search out other bloggers that do and post a few links to their Happy Halloween posts.

Ooo I just remembered, I used to play an mmorpg called Lineage, it's a very hard game and it takes ages to get anything in it, especially rare expensive items. The thing about it is that they have special events around certain holidays and the Halloween event was the best, the toughest monsters would spawn randomly throughout the game and drop some really rare items, it was so fun, I died so many times in this event that it set me back 2 months in leveling but I was rich as from the items I got. That's what I remember most about Halloween.

Odd Mondays clearing out the old

Welcome to the first Odd Mondays Odd news post. For now I'll write up brief descriptions of each story but as I start fresh next Monday I'll do research into the odd stories.

Little write up about the Okapi a rare giraffe like creature that lives in the congo, the picture with the story looks pretty cool.

A Brazilian Stonehenge has been discovered and It looks pretty descent judging by the 2 pics of it.

Wow Mekong catfish are huge, I wonder how old they get.

















A new species of hammerhead shark has been discovered in northwestern Atlantic Ocean. Speaking of sharks I had a newspaper clipping I used to carry around with me as a kid, I lost this years ago and have been searching the net for it ever since. The only info I had on it was its tiny caption that read something like this "Fishermen net a giant shark with eyes the size of bowling balls". The picture shows a huge shark head on the deck of a boat with huge black eyes with big ass teeth and really bad looking gums, it also had a tubby fellow standing next to it. I've searched the net for it for ages but have never found it. It looks a lot like this photoshoped one only much bigger.
Any help in finding this would be very appreciated.

Possible Abominable Snowman footprints found in Arkhangelsk, lots of photos but some are of bear prints.

I followed this story for awhile about a photograph of a female bigfoots eyes, it was pretty interesting how they got shunned and stuff.

Rare Rhino photographed for the first time, It looks so cute.

I think I may have posted about this before, the photo was taken in Newcastle and it shows a shadowy figure knelt down peeking around a corner. If it is a ghost it's really cool but it so easily be just some dude.

Galapagos Land tortoise is officially the worlds oldest living creature, I'm sure whale are supposed to live longer than that. Read in the newspaper a few years ago about a dead whale that had washed up some where in New Zealand that had an 1800s harpoon stuck in it. Hmm got to look into that some more.

I think that should be enough for now, I've found a few things I forgot to follow up on, should make some good posts.

Hundreds of scary Japanese ghost photos

Some of the picture in these Japanese ghost picture mixes are just plain creepy, I don't really know what to make of it all, some of the images seem fake, some misaken identities, some look as if they're just trying to find faces and such.

If you are easily scared, some of the images are "The Ring" kind of creepy, lots of ghostly beings creeping up behind people, appearing in windows and tv screens so just a little warning.



This is the first video in a series uploaded by TokyoNightingale on youtube, my connection is stuffing up at the moment and I haven't been able to watch past this first one. As far as I can tell there are about 9 videos like the one above and if they're as long as this one there has got to be hundreds of ghost pictures contained in these ghost mixes, some have to be real.

I don't know much about the background of these videos so if anyone can help that would be great.

Spooky Friday, Fallen Angel caught on tape

This video has been around for awhile and I'm not sure I've posted this before. I first saw it under the title "Possible Fallen Angel" but I now see it around as chupacabra caught on tape. So here's the second spooky Friday video. Watch out for crazy eyes at the end.

Red mist, orbs and rainbows from Rose

I got an email from a lady named Rose today which had a few pictures in it, she was asking for people with a knowledge of the paranormal their opinions of them. Thylacine puppy photographed in Tasmania

I was searching for other paranormal blogs and spotted this story about a photographed Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger). It shows what appears to be a puppy Thylacine, the background story is nicely detailed also.

I just realized that that photo and story may have come from some where else so if anyone knows where it originated from please let me know and if it is originally from Natural Plane good story dude :)

[EDIT]I found where it came from, Cryptomundo pointed to it at The Book Of THoTH which is a new site to me and looks very interesting.

Thought I caught me some UFOs, Just Orbs though

When I came across this shot while browsing a batch of photos I had taken I thought that I had captured some UFOs, a second later I remembered that they were birds, if I hadn't remembered that I would probably still be thinking that I had caught UFOS on film.

I think it's so easy to mistake objects for more than what they are, really have to be careful. If I had of come on here and blogged about what I thought I had caught in a photograph I probably would have got slammed with a bunch of negative feedback (when I say slammed I mean a comment or two).

This brings me to orb photos, awhile back I posted about how I was going to try and capture orbs in photos in these posts Ghosts Monsters Orbs and aliens, Hunting for Orbs but got me a Dragon, as you can tell back then I had a bit more respect for the whole orb phenomenon but since then I am now taking a load more photos and what I have found out is that orbs a very very common, about 1/8 of the photos I take have orbs in them and I put all of them down to dust, smudges, light etc. Atleast until I see one that looks really cool. So what I'm going to do is try and come up with a technique that'll produce orbs every time and share it with y'all.

Also the catagories don't work that well so I'll have to wait untill I get offered beta.
