Ok and now for the 5 second MPL animation preview, it's nothing spectacular at all but it is my first proper 3D model and my first animation with Blender. I used to play around a little with 3Ds max back in the day but never got beyond just making simple scenes with basic shapes but with killer textures and effects, modelling just seemed to hard.
Now the meat cleaver is for a character that I have been imagining for about 4 0r 5 years now, the cleaver is strapped to this characters back and completely covers it, so you can get an idea of how big this knife is. Think silent hill meets a nightmare before Christmas.

Video of a Ghost on the stairs
Is this little kid ghost at the top of the stairs real or fake? To me it looks convincing but lately I've been learning about digital video editing, I can create this effect pretty easily with a stationary camera, shooting two videos of the same scene, then bluescreen chroma thingy to get a ghost in the shot, The result is pretty good and really quick.
But this video has a moving camera and if it is fake it's lining up really good, and I can't think how it could have been done, especially if you don't have the right equipment.
Trying to figure out how to duplicate this is going to come in handy for a future post I'm working on.

Give this man a place to stand...
This aint really paranormal related but I did find it an amazing watch, It's about a man who loves to move huge stones by himself. He believes that the technique he's developed over time could be the same as what the people who built stone henge or the pyramids could have used.
In the video he moves stones the size of a coffee tables to the size of trucks all by himself. Really cool stuff.

Ghost Girl from Toronto caught on video
I've watched this a few times and can't decide if it's fake or not, It could be easily faked but it does have that spook factor about it.
The blurb about it points to the figure maybe being of a girl who hung herself.
The ghostly figure looks solid and I find it pretty hard to make it out properly.

Paranormal Video Blitz
Haven't posted any paranormal videos in awhile but I have collected quite a few bookmarks, so in the next few days I'm gonna have a video posting blitz just to clear out my bookmarks.
Each video will be in a single post with any info I can find on them, I'll also post a tiny preview of a CG animation I'm working on, I'm using a 3d animation program called Blender and I'm learning it as I go so it's going to be slow.

Favorite christmas blog posts
Well I think I have every thing in place, categories are sorted but that's gonna get bloated as I post more often, every thing's nicely aligned but I going to have to do something with that white background, don't know what though, so alls good.
It's almost Christmas, I thought about writing some sort of seasonal greeting but I'm not to good at that, and after reading through some of the other blogs that I read there are some very nice Christmas posts, so I thought why not give out a little link love and post some of my favorite Christmas blog posts. It is the season after all.
Most of the Christmas traditions in my family down here seem to revolve around burnt BBQ and sun burn, but some of the Christmas traditions and superstitions in this post are just plain scary. FLASH, BANG, WALLOP - WHAT A CHRISTMAS.
The real 12 days of Christmas, this is funny, imagine actually receiving all those gifts, It would be a little over whelming.
My Christmas bonus this year was 50 bucks, I wish i could have gotten something with a little more thought like a Christmas ham.
Sometimes with all these over packaged gifts the fun is in not trying to hurt yourself while unpacking the gifts, I hate over packaged goods. Cancelling Christmas because of these damn twist ties is one such story of the struggle of trying to open these kinds of presents.
Well that's it, those were some of my favorite Christmas posts this year. Hope you all have a very safe and wonderful Christmas

The future of MPL
The quality of my posts in the past have been fairly basic, embed some youtube videos, link off to news stories, pretty basic stuff. What I want to do now is to produce my own original content, such as writing descent articles, having regular ghost hunts with videos, photos, evps etc. I also want to introduce some regular cartoons and movies.
This is going to take time to produce so please bare with me if I don't post to often, I will try and post the odd Mondays and spooky Friday posts and some in between, I know I missed the last two themed posts but the silly seasons getting the best of me, hehe seems most of my posts lately are centered around excuses.
I've got some big ideas and hopefully I can pull them off.

Christmas time. To dang busy
With it being Christmas time and all I haven't had to much time to just sit in front of the computer and make posts. The industry I'm working in at the moment is going crazy, it's so busy at the moment, and there are so many xmas parties to go to that finding quality me time is hard, so at the moment I'm letting this blog slip but once things quiet down I should be full bawl again.

No Odd Monday post but more on the redesign
With work and all I'm letting Odd Mondays post slip this week, haven't really found much of interest, not enough to make a post of anyway.
I have been working a fare bit on the new design for My Paranormal Life, if you want to check it out it's called My Paranormal Life T. I think it's looking pretty nifty and I really can't wait to implement it.
Please any comments on the new design are very much welcome.

Spooky Friday the 13th movie montage
Allrighty then, well its another Saturday which means I missed the Spooky Friday post again.
This weeks one is a little extreme and a lot more Horror related than it is paranormal.
I thought it was a pretty cool that some one put all the death scenes from the "Friday The 13th" movies into one easy to see clip.
I've been watching these movies ever since I was a kid, scared the hell outta me back then and probably explains my fear of cabins by the lake.
Just a WARNING!!! It does contain extreme scenes of horror and if you're not older than 18 you should probably not watch it.
Every death in the Friday the 13th series, chronologically arranged.
