A Fairy in my Tree, Haunted Photoshop

I like to take pictures of random things, most of the time the photos I take just end up filling my hard drive, but I keep them anyway because I can always use them for something.

As In this case I saw what looked like a fairy in the upper right hand corner of the photo, it's not a fairy though and with photoshop I added a nose and eyes. That's all that has been done to the photo with photoshop.

It doesn't have wings though so maybe it looks more like a pixie, I really don't know the difference?

I think I'll keep this a regular thing, I have loads of photos that with a little tweaking could make for some very cool looking images.

Need some advice on my Experiment, Recreating the Paranormal

Some of you may have seen this post Shadow Person Caught on Video RTP and I was wondering what some of you think of this experiment.

I'm having a few second thoughts about it, mainly because I will be making fake ghost videos and I know this type of thing doesn't stand to well within the paranormal community.

I made a blog dedicated to the experiment Recreating the Paranormal and the first post outlines what I intend to do.

Just wondering if this a good or bad move.

First attempt at Instrumental TransCommunication WW

I wrote about ITC a few posts back and finally gave it a try, I tried doing the looped method but my T.V didn't have the right plug holes, so I'm going to have to get some more leads or something, I tried the other method of filming static on a T.V, but that gave me a head ache with all the flickering going on, so I settled for photographing the static.

I took a few dozen photos, looked through them and found nothing outstanding, sure I saw dozens of faces, but I put that down to seeing faces in everything thing.

In the photo below it looks to me like thousands of tiny stick figures all piled on top of each other.

Pretty much the same as above.

I don't know about this Instrumental TransCommunication thing, maybe I have to stick with it a little longer or maybe I nailed it on the head with the faces in my bathroom floor post?

Rockets or Wormholes, two new videos

I just came across a couple of videos that look pretty much identical to two other videos that I have posted before which are Video of a spiraling UFO over Russia and Vandenberg Missile Test or UFO Wormhole both those videos showed a small bright object with a big,long cloudy trail behind them and so do the two below.

Seems to be a pretty common occurrence, very spectacular to behold though.

The video above is said have been shot in 2002 on a trip to Yosemite Park, the description that came with the video says it's near Area51. UFO or Rocket, well it is a UFO, it's unidentified, it's flying and it's an object. Either way it is a very beautiful piece of video.

This video is a little different, you don't really get a steady view of it, very shaky. The one thing that gets me is why is the trail so dang bright. It's also said to have been shot near Area51.

All in all, Rockets of UFOs, they're pretty amazing videos what ever they are.

Behind the scenes of Sylvanic May 2007 Videos

I found these Behind The Scenes of Sylvanic videos about 5 days ago, I went to the Sylvanic website to watch them there but they weren't up at the time so I held off on posting them.

The BtS videos don't show any of the Bigfoot footage from Sylvanic, but are a decent watch any way. The videos mostly show Todd Standing going about his promo efforts and his work on conservation for Bigfoot, there are a couple points through out the videos that interested me, first was a brief follow up about Todd's appearance on the radio show Coast to Coast, he doesn't go into to much detail, but says he is in communication with Bugs and C2C, other than that not much else, secondly was getting the viewers reactions to the documentary as the left the theatre, most seemed pleasantly surprised by the Bigfoot footage. I can't remember in which videos these segments were as I watched them 5 days ago and wasn't taking notes.

It looks like a series of 8 videos, at the moment it goes from 1-4 skips 3 and goes straight to 8, so I'll post the first 4 here and update when the missing parts are available.

Another double light UFO video, filmed over Kent

Here's some more footage that looks a lot like a few other double light UFO videos that I have posted here. The previous posts are Video of two UFOs over lake Erie, New years Las Vegas UFO video and Long video of a UFO that shoots out a beam of light.

I really like this one, really nicely shot, giving distance, shape, speed in relation to its surroundings.

If you've seen the other videos you should know what to expect, this ones a little different as it is shot within some day light hours. I found out about this video by someone who posted a thread referring to the posts mentioned above which is at the alien-ufos forum, the link will take you to the thread.

ITC Instrumental TransCommunication

I've known about Instrumental TransCommunication for awhile now, but know very little about it, my interest was peaked when I came across a profile at IaH, which had some very intriguing photography, he calls his method Visual Projection ITC and the results are really amazing, you can read about his method and see some of his work at P.I.T.

I wouldn't mind giving it a go and did some research (not much though) and found a very simple guide at paranormal.about.com called Experimenting with Instrumental Transcommunication, now after watching the video guide I realized that I used to do this when I was younger without realizing it. Me and my brother would have a few beers and watch static on the tv (not very productive, but it was fun at the time) and watch scenes play out in the static, we never recorded anything.

I'm probably going to do some ITC video recording over the next couple of weeks and post the results (if any) here at MPL. For now though here's a few links and videos about Instrumental TransCommunication.

New Zealand Paranormal links list

I made a post about half a year ago asking, New Zealand paranormal sites, where are they?, well I think it is time to put the list together, I didn't go out of my way to build this list, I bookmarked them as I found them.

So here's a list of active paranormal sites in New Zealand.

Ghosts and Other Haunts, New Zealand - Probably the biggest and most active site about ghosts in NZ, lots of great stories and a very large collection of ghost photos. There is also a very active forum and from reading some of the threads has some interesting stories, great site.

PINZ - I found this one while browsing the GOHNZ forum mentioned above, they have just recently got together for a paranormal investigation near where I live, it's a great read.

Spooks Paranormal Investigations - Nicely designed site with stories, pics and ghost cams. They also have a blog, woot.

UFO Investigator _in_Hawkes-Bay_NZ - It's not updated that often and hasn't been for awhile now, but it does have some interesting articles and stories especially this one about the Mohau - New Zealands Bigfoot

Mysterious New Zealand - Nicely designed, but it looks as if the main page isn't being updated anymore, the forum looks active though.

Strange Occurrences - Profile site for a Wellington based paranormal investigation group.

Dang, I'm sure there are many more and there were in my bookmarks, but most of them were dead links. I was hoping for a bigger list so if you run a paranormal site or know of one that is based in New Zealand, please leave a comment along with a link to the site.

Shuffled My Paranormal Life around again

Seems like every other month I move everything around, this time though I had a reason, my link list was way way down the in the depths of sidebar hell, I kept wanting to move it to the now abolished wide-sidebar, but I felt that it wouldn't fit very well.

So now I am back to two sidebars and the link list is now more prominent, which should hopefully send more traffic to the links on it. The left sidebar will eventually be a little wider, looks a little skinny at the mo, I'm in the process of redesigning the graphics there and adding a few features that I'm about to roll out over the next month or so.

NASA methane rocket engine Test firing Video

As i have mentioned before on MPL, I know next to nothing about rockets, but this video of NASA testing a new rocket fueled by methane was pretty cool. The gist of the write up goes into why they are exploring methane as an option, which include that's it's easier to work with than more traditional rocket fuels and that it can be sustained and created off planet, meaning that they are able to make pit stops on other planets to harvest methane and refuel.

The video is pretty brief, it shows the rocket igniting and has a very beautiful blue flame.

Bigfoot shot from Helicopter in Middle Tennessee

This footage supposedly shows Bigfoot being filmed from a helicopter during a routine flight in Tennessee, the description was very brief. The Bigfoot in the video looked very beefy and burly if not a little to fluffy, the helicopter makes multiple passes at the subject and in between that you get a very good birds eye view of the surrounding area.

You see roads and buildings in the distance, but for the most part the area looks wooded, at points while the subject is in view it looks as if it is a guy in a fur coat and at times it looks like a bear, but it does look biggish.

Not sure what to think.

For awhile I used to do a couple of weekly themed posts called Odd Mondays and Spooky Friday ( didn't label them ), I tried keeping up with them, but gradually I just stopped doing them.

I'm starting something similar called Boo Post where I just randomly... BOO!!! did I scare you? probably not anyway... BOO!!! that time?

Well anyway from time to time I'll post one filled with strange and interesting news, not always related to the paranormal though.

David Hasselhoff lightsaber battle - this is just strange, It's a youtube video, I linked to where I found it.

GS Question of the Week - I wont give the question away, but I do feel it does work.

Ultimate Warrior: Robert Duncan O'Finioan - This is the story of one man who was trained as part of a program to be an Ultimate Warrior, I haven't watched the whole video yet, it's over an hour long, but it does seem very interesting, especially his use of psychic energy.

UK airline pilots spot "mile-wide" UFO - pretty interesting account from a UK airline pilot. Mile wide UFOs, is Independence Day coming sooner than we think.

The Amityville Hoax - Nice write up about the Amityville Horror, that movie used to scare the hell out of me because I thought it to be true, oh well, still many unanswered questions though
