Hidden Bigscreens - SP

As some of you may know from my other blog I like video games, I don't update that blog to much mainly because I don't own any game consoles right now, I hope to change that at some point. What I really want is a PS3 but to get the full experience out of it that I can I'll definitely need a huge screen TV, tried my brother PS3 on a normal TV and it just doesn't cut it.

Along with a big screen TV I'm gonna want a nice LCD or plasma tv lift. Eventually I'll have them and I hope to purchase them all with money I make online.

Diet Pills - SP

So do these diet pills work, could do but I have no idea. I guess if you do your research and read up on any product you'll find your own truth.

I know one guy who took some kind of diet pill and it did wonders for him, but that was in conjunction with a proper diet and exercise.

Hopefully now I can get a proper post out.

Men and Lingerie - SP

I don't actually now how to go with this assignment, it's all about women's lingerie, some very nice lingerie at that.

I guess you liken me writing about this site to a guy trying to buy that something special for their girlfriend or wife, in the end they'll always get it wrong.

Just like me, so I'll leave it at that.

Get fit for the new year - SP

Well the new year is just a week away and everyone seems to make resolutions, usually for me it's to spend more time with family and to get fit, I don't own any fitness equipment but I'd say weights are what I'd like, just to get tone up and get strong for when to evil mole turtles come up from the hollow earth.

I made that last bit up and forgot I had an assignment to do.

Well the clocks just struck 12:00 here and it's now officially Christmas day down under, I just finished work about an hour ago and have a few presents still to wrap and then to bed for the events tomorrow which usually involves the whole family going over to my aunts house and eating our weight in food.

So to all have a a very Merry Christmas and hope you all have fun, me it'll be in the sun.

Or could it be the albino Grinch? The video seems like your average holiday movie, taking video of the Christmas lights to send to mom. The thing appears at the end of the video, it's white in color and has a very strange looking arm position, looks about the size of a person and not very Bigfoot like.

I just can't get the idea of someone stealing a TV out of my head.

Zeitgeist Refuted

The video below was left in the comments for my post about Zeitgeist the Movie, looks well made and from what I can gather only deals with the religious aspect of Zeitgeist.

I've been trying like crazy to get it to stream well, but for me google video is sucking, probably give it another go later.

I was expecting a video response to Zeitgeist like this one, well made with a similar style but of the opposite view.

Let me know if it's worth the watch if you get to watch it.

Need some fiber cable for your network? well this site has loads of cable on offer that I have never heard of, I wouldn't even know where to begin, lucky though that I don't have a network, thus elimintating the need for cable.

I'd have to say though that if you do need cable you'll probably find it at that link.

Astronomical Art and Golden Age Comics

I love fantasy art the like, but in recent times I've found I've dedicated less time to simple art appreciation, I don't know why, I've always gotten a natural high from looking at art that pleases me.

That's why I was pleased to find Astrona, a blog specializing in Astronomical Art. When I first entered the site I almost closed the page because above the fold it wasn't very interesting, but I gave it a scroll and I got that natural high. The blog presents some very awesome space art work, as I'm writing this I'm going back and forth to look at it again.

Astrona reminds me a little of another blog called Golden Age Comic Book Stories, I've been visiting this one for quite awhile now, the blog consists mainly of images from you guessed it Golden Age Comic Books, awesome images and I get that high every time I visit.

Time for more art appreciation.

Poles and Paranormal Media

So hopefully I'm back on top, been pretty sparse on posts around here the last week or so, I've been lurking in the background, touching up my various blogs, figuring out how I can improve and what not, pretty low key, I've been working on updating My Paranormal Media with all my images and art work that I've done for my blogs, just a picture blog really.

The What would you like to see more of on MPL poll has ended and the overwhelming support goes towards Paranormal Videos with 62% of the votes followed by Current Paranormal News with 28%. I'm gonna throw up another pole now which is What topics do you like to see most on MPL, if you'd like to vote the pole is in the right sidebar.

A refreshing non paranormal weekend

Had myself a great weekend under the sun by the local rivers and beaches, well Sunday was sunny, Saturday was a little overcast, still hot though. I think it was just what I needed, two days off in a row to call my own.

Bloggers Block of the Living Dead

I've got the meanest bloggers block at the moment, I have so much I want to post about that I end up not posting anything at all. Time to slow down, relax, maybe watch a movie and enjoy the sun by the river tomorrow. This place we are going to is one of the most beautiful places I know of and hopefully I get some good photos to share.

As for a movie, well I've been meaning to download Night of the Living Dead from archive.org for years now. It's public domain and perfectly legal to download and so are many other things on there, it's like a freebie basket full of hidden gems.

Meteor Showers Caught on Video

This is a great compilation of Meteors caught on video, what's amazing to me is how the flashes seem to turn night into day. I've experienced something like that but for the life of me I can't remember when, what and why, it was either a fireworks display or when the power lines went out while I was delivering papers years ago.

There seems to be a little buzz about in certain places about big flashes in the night sky, may have to look into that.

A way to fake a UFO video

Seen many videos that look like the one below, take away the ceiling and walls and my guess is that it would be pretty hard to tell what exactly it is.

Camera movement could be a giveaway, just something to look for when examining claimed real footage, coz you know fake footage probably outnumbers real footage like 20 to 1.

Not such a Paranormal Life after all

It's getting really hot down here in New Zealand, feels hotter than it usually is at this time of year, the silly season has taken its toll on my work life with most of my rostered days off being filled with shifts, though in the new year I'll probably struggle to get any.

It's left me with less time for this blog, but it's also left me with time to reflect on what I want to do with it, so hopefully when things settle down I can bang all these ideas out. I think my brothers house may be haunted lol, that should make for good viewing hopefully.

The poll to the left has gone pretty good, I asked "What would you like to see more of on MPL" and Paranormal videos is winning by a large margin, there's 3 days left to vote so if you haven't already give it a go.

I've added the Blogcatalog widget back to the blog, it's nice to see all the regular faces again, don't actually know why I ever took it off.

Anyway I'll be posting videos and such when I find good ones, but until the new year that's probably all you'll see.

Another Service Station Ghost?

Have been seeing quite a few security cam ghost videos spring up lately, could it be due to the recent gas station ghost video?

Beats me but the video below is from a service station, not much happens a part from at the very end where you see something materialize in the window to the right, actually very creepy.

Don't know much more about the video, searches get clouded by the blue ghost one.

Lake Monsters Exist, maybe? FOTD

Fake of the day. - This video is so short you'll be watching it in a loops all day long, though it has an annoying hang at the end.

I say fake because there really isn't much to go on, it's titled as proof that lake monsters exist, but to me it looks either computer generated or an elephant.

Some of the comments on youtube mention it's from a TV show, good luck trying to find which one lol.

American tax relief is I guess a service that can help you sort out your back tax, if you owe any that is, they say they can help you with making sure your paper work is all in order as well.

I've been having to do my own taxes with the online income that I'm getting, which is pretty easy, just leave some aside.

Commercial Real Estate - SP

Search for commercial real estate online, thousands of listings, easy to navigate with extensive search features.

It's nice to be able to make quick searches just to see what's up, I find it one of the best ways to learn about something quick, find a place dedicated to a subject with a big database, gets rid of the learning curve I think.

I have no real interest in the subject, but I found it cool that the site seems global in its service.

Oopart - Angkor Wat Dinosaur Carving

Oopart stands for Out of Place Artifact, in other words an artifact that doesn't fit or belong to where it was found, confusing matters.

Various groups hang on to cases of oopart as evidence of their beliefs, as evidence against mainstream ideas and so on, myself I just find it interesting.

Above is an image of a carving found at the temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, some believe it to show a stegosaurus, evidence that dinosaurs lived along side humans no littler than 1000 years ago. Strictly speaking I don't know if you could call it oopart, there's bugger all info on the subject apart from those with agendas and the image above seems to be one of only a few available, I'd expect more photos seeing that it's a tourist spot.

It does seem out of place if you look at it as a dinosaur, but for me I can liken to any number of other animals.

Cryptomundo has a nice write up from when the story was hot, seems to be no new news on the subject in the 2 years since then.

Military Relocation - SP

Never actually knew about military relocation before, apparently military families move around a lot, I don't think it's to much of an issue down here, doesn't take long to get anywhere in New Zealand.

Though I guess if your in the states and get positioned on the other side of the country and it happens on a regular basis you're probably going to want it to be as pain free as possible.

Exoskeleton in Testing

I've always wondered why in this day and age we haven't already developed full on robot suits, mech styles. Though there have been quite a few advances in robotics over the last few years below to me is probably the most amazing, though I did see a similar suit from a Japanese company awhile back.

The Exoskeleton in the video below has been developed by Sarcos a company who deals in robotics. The most obvious use for such a suit is military, though without military funding the suit probably wouldn't exist.

I find it amazing how sleek this thing is and how easy it seems to maneuver, won't be long before it's incredibly compact with tens times the strength and sensitivity, probably, I just won't to see something from Voltron for real.

UFO Crash Caught on Hikers Camera

Ever heard of the missing Red Rock Hikers, Scott Pendleton and Jennifer Fox? no? I haven't either, but I feel that if the video below were real anyone interested in UFOs would know the names off by heart.

The video is very Blair Witch like and done really well, two hikers out with their video camera goofing around when suddenly an object crashes from the sky and lands yards away, they go to investigate only to have the object break open and a creature attack them, finishing the same way Blair left off.

I wanted to know what it was all about so a quick search with the little info the video had, yielded the Tacoma County Sheriff's Office page, which was semi blog style with info and investigations centered around the missing hikers, it's also probably the original source for the video which was said to have been found in the woods, Blair Witch styles.

Though not is all it seems, the sheriff's page is a sub page of Newborn Pictures, an independent film production company, if you scroll along their about page you'll come to The Red Rock Hikers where they say they have it up as a courtesy to the Tacoma County Sheriff's Office. Strange thing is I've actually heard of some of their productions.

Cool video anyway, they seem to have the right mix for a hoax Internet urban legend, though if the video is actually from 2005, it took a long time to get out or I started to late and missed the hoopla.

Fakes of the day

I say fake, but really there's no way of knowing unless I get a little more in depth, but first impressions to me say it's fake.

These videos have beautifully contrasting forest scenes and in making a fake I would have put the subject off in the distance to walk amongst the trees, the subject would have emerged from the shadows in the first video only to disappear as it walked across the scene. In the second video the light source would have made for a great Bigfoot silhouette with the shadow making it hard to determine any hard details.

I really think they are pretty, the setups cool to, kind of an over the shoulder action cam in parts.

Amityville House Phone Calls

I'm presuming that this video is from a couple who visited the infamous Amityville house, they claim that while they were there they received 3 strange messages to their cell phone, all without it ringing. The messages seem to be from a kid ranting off verbal abuse, they're definitely creepy.

Is it a ghost from the past, a hoax or just some kid playing with a phone? The voice in the messages wouldn't fit any of the profiles of Ronald DeFeo Jr's victims, the youngest of which was 9 years of age. After the murders the house was up for sale and the Lutz family bought it at a bargain price and moved in, one of the family was Missy who was 5 at the time, Missy was said to have an imaginary friend named Jodie, it was said to ask her if she wanted him to appear as a boy or a pig, so there's two that could fit the profile of the caller, though I think Missy is alive and well, that leaves the imaginary friend Jodie.

Missy's parents claimed that Jodie was a demonic pig, some say that it was nothing more than the neighbours fat cat, what's interesting is that Ronald DeFeo Jr who lived in the house before the Lutzs was said to call the cat "that pig", interesting degrees of separation right there.

Anyway, getting to deep into it now and I think I'm starting to make things up "conspiracy styles" so I'll leave it at that, interesting stuff for sure.

Costa Rica UFO Video

This UFO video from Costa Rica was shot from a cell phone by a Costa Rican construction worker Malvin Badilla. It shows a disc shaped object which hovers for a moment then quickly maneuvers out of shot where you get a very good look at its top and underside.

The details you can see when the UFO exits the shot are not what I expected to see judging from the detail of the surroundings, to me it seems a whole lot closer and smaller than the impression I got from the hovering shot, and with the crappy quality of cell phone videos you can hide a lot in the image noise. Though that could just be me, I always write these like this so people can shoot my opinions down if need be, adding to the knowledge.

The video below is a news report, the reconstruction of the moment is pretty funny and the dramatic music doesn't really help things all that much. Here's a page with details and analysis of the incident which I think is a translation of this page.
