How I earn extra cash online

I've been so unfocused the last couple days so I'm gonna pull a quick left turn and talk about how I make some extra cash online.

I make a few hundred bucks a month off of blogging, about $130 from this blog and a couple hundred from my other online activities. As far as this blog is concerned I think it's at its peak and I don't plan on pushing the money making side of it any further, it's my hobby blog after all.

That being said I do make money online others ways and here's a quick list of what I use to make it.

* A lot of the links below are affiliate links, this means if you sign up you'll be one of my referrals.

Payed to Blog Programs.

These are programs that pay bloggers to blog about their advertisers. This is probably the easiest way to make money blogging, though be warned google hates these kinds of programs, they may interrupt your usual blogging topics, and in the long run there's no real lasting benefit to your blog at all.

Payu2blog - This is the only one I use these days, very easy assignments to complete, $5 a pop, but you do have to complete all assignments they offer you. Made just over $500 with them

- The big daddy of the lot, take on assignments and get payed, though finding topics that fit your niche can be hard. Made a couple hundred with them.

Blog Advertising - Get Paid to Blog - Just like the rest only on a smaller scale, assignments are good, though a little far between. Made about 50 bucks with them.

Pay Per Click Programs.

These are programs where you add code to your blog, ads are shown and when a visitor clicks on them you get paid a little amount.

Google Adsense - The obvious place to start and in my experience you pretty much set it, forget it and as your traffic increases so will your earnings. Made over a thousand with them.

Chitika - I've only just recently started using them, but if you've got a product related blog you'll do pretty well with them. For example video games. Made just over 10 bucks with them.

Earn $$ with WidgetBucks!
- Just like Chitika, if you've got a product related blog you could do well with them. Made just over 20 bucks with them.

- I don't use this service anymore, I took up adsense instead. Adbrite is Pay per click like the others, but they also have direct ad sales where you can set the price to charge. made 20 bucks before I stopped using them.

Monetize your Website or Blog with BidVertiser - I'm pretty new to Bidvertiser and it seems pretty hard to get them going, gotta think on this. Made nothing really.

Affiliate Programs.

Affiliate programs are services where you promote products or service by sending traffic to services or products available online, if a visitor you sent visitor buys the product you get a commission for that sale.

Amazon Associates - Amazon probably has literally millions of products for you to promote, you can promote products from amazon by adding their product links to your blog posts as well as adding their product widgets to your blogs side bar, the choice is yours.

Though as an affiliate program their commission rates are pretty bad, it starts out at 4% and can go as high as 10%. Other companies have affiliate programs as well and if you look around enough you may find one that offers the same product to promote as amazon does, but with a better starting commission and they could even go as high as 15-20%.

Affiliate Networks.

Affiliate networks bring together a wide variety of affiliate programs, sign-up once and you could be promoting products from dozens of different companies all in one place.

Shareasale - Hundreds of products and services to promote from loads of different companies. I've been able to find specific products to promote in many different niches.

Commission Junction
- Another big daddy, lots of programs to promote, the interface can be a little confusing. You can probably find what your looking to promote here.

Join Pepperjam Network today! - Pepperjam is a pretty new network on the scene, has a lot of products and services to promote, great layout to.

- Based in the U.K I've made quite a bit of cash promoting a program I found here, the only problem is I'm still trying to figure out how to set up my bank transfer. Made 80 bucks with this one over a couple months.

Other ways I've made money online.

This is a list of some of the other services I've used to make money online.

My Search Funds
- MSFs is a payed to search program, you replace the search box in your internet browser with there's and you use it search the net as you normally would. It's pretty knew and there's not a lot online about if they pay or not, but by April 15 the next pay period we all should know. If they do pay, it looks like a worthwhile program to use, 100 searches earned me 2 pounds, about $4 U.S.

Revver - Revver is a video sharing site just like youtube, they share revenue with all the video creators and sharers. I made just over a $120 using them and I could make a lot more, if only I made more videos.

I've made cash other ways online but for the most part they were one offs. Most of the programs mentioned above could generate income for you long term.

So now that that's out of my system, back to more paranormal related content soon.
