Used Cisco Stuff - SP

I don't know what use I would have for used cisco, I really don't even know what the stuff is, but a quick google lets me know it's some kind of communications stuff.

Maybe if I were setting up a server or something, maybe I'd need this stuff but other than that well someone may want some.

I really don't know what I'm on about here.

NoobToob, my other favorite thing

This is way off topic, but other than the paranormal one other thing that I can't get enough of online is a little something called NoobToob. NoobToob is a weekly independent podcast all about video games, presented by Tobin and Yuzo, they're up to episode 80 and every week without fail there's a shinny new hour long episode to enjoy.

I started watching at about episode 55 and I can't believe I've watched 25 hours of two dudes talking about video games, probably has something to do with their passion and commitment to their community of fans, their love of video games and their wicked sense of humor.

I guess what I'm saying is I'm addicted to NoobToob.

To tell you the truth I have no idea what to make of the images in the video below, if I take them as I see them, they're some pretty phenomenal paranormal photographs, but I also have the feeling that I may be missing something, don't know a whole lot about the photos and the Hamiltons.

Luckily then there's a whole archive of images and info to explore here, some 700 odd photos.

Woot something from my own country, don't get to much stuff from down here. I don't know, looks pretty cool, but the quality is so bad I don't think I'll analyze it to much.

I can't really make out what the "poltergeist" is doing and to me it could just be a person hidden in the noise of a bad quality camera.

Photo of UFO in London, a speedometer?

Cool looking UFO photo, shot by a student taking tourist shots in London. You can see the photo and get the full story here, I don't know what that sites retention is like so here's an alternative link to the photo on Phantoms and Monsters.

The article mentions that experts feel it's genuine, but they seem to come from the angle that it's not fabricated or a hoax. If you look at the circumstances the photos were taken in maybe it could be a little simpler, taken from a car, were they shot through glass? and could it be a reflection?, to me the UFO looks like an illuminated speedometer reflecting off glass.

But hey, I think there's a couple more photos from this person, so who knows.

A bit blogged out

Sorry things have been a little slow around here, I'm feeling kind of blogged out, see how things go I may have a burst of energy, usually gets me up to speed again.

Oh and please excuse all the ad posts, I got hit with an extra amount of assignments to do, I usually like to follow up such posts with 3 or 4 on topic ones, just haven't had the energy lately.

Didn't I do one of these a few of them ago? Anyway looks like a place where you can get a best buy. Looks like some good prices but I guess they're in U.S dollar, so it all looks like a good price to me being from down here.

Horror Movie Reviews from The Cut Up

The Cut Up is a pretty cool blog, it has some pretty funny and interesting video reviews of horror movies, pointing out things such as continuity problems, bad dialog, acting etc.

I came across it awhile ago when it had maybe 3 video reviews up, hadn't returned in awhile until today and was pleasantly surprised to see some 25 horror movie reviews up.

The reviews range from classics such as Halloween to B-movies like Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

I really enjoyed the blog first time round and I know I'm going to enjoy all the new stuff on offer.

This place seems to have a lot of books, big selection, looks to me to have similar numbers to its competitors.

I'd looked for books before that I couldn't find on other sites, if I had known about this one they may have had them, don't know, I can't remember the books I was looking for.

Useful to have another place to search anyway.

What's a platform bed - SP

I don't know what platform beds are but I like the look of that remote control adjustable bed, the ultimate in lazy. Feel that blood circulation could use an adjustment, no problem, just a touch of a button and you're in a new position.

On the down side, it looks kind of like a hospital bed.

I still don't know what a platform bed is, maybe it's a simple term widely used, if so I don't use it.

Free Energy for all and for ever

To tell you the truth I don't know much about this stuff, but for every device that comes along that offers free energy for the masses, the discussions that follow are all pretty much the same "oh, a big oil companies gonna buy it up," "We'll never see this device again" or "they're gonna kill those guys".

The thing with the generator below is if it's as simple as I perceive it to be, anyone could make one. The thing spins and you collect the energy, simple as.

I'm thinking it's some kind of perpetual motion machine using magnets.

Three Men and a Baby - Celebrity Ghosts

I'm can almost remember the first time I heard about the ghost in the movie, Three Men and a Baby, I think I was around 9 or 10 years old, it made me not want to watch the movie again, hadn't noticed anything ghostly first time watching it. Over the years when talking about ghosts and such it would always come up, like "oh yea, you know that movie Three Men and a Baby... there's a ghost in it"

So years later when I got the internet, I sought out the clip that showed the "ghost", wasn't that scary or impressive.

I think it's become something of an urban legend, the story of a kid committing suicide in an apartment, the studio using the same apartment to film Three Men and a Baby and the ghost of the boy appearing on film.

In the end after 5 minutes research you'll find that the figure which appears on film isn't a ghost.

Here's a great link analyzing the footage with pictures and all, compare the ghost to the cardboard cut out of Ted Danson, more than a few similarities.

Vegas would be cool - SP

I've always wanted to go to Las Vegas, gamble some in the casinos stay at a hotel in Vegas and just experience Vegas.

One day maybe when I have some extra cash, but at the moment I can only plan. We have beautiful beaches, rivers and what not down here, experiencing something so totally different such as Vegas would be so cool.

It really does seem like something not of this earth to me.

Rehabilitation - SP

I think this may be the fourth time I've been asked to talk about drug rehabilitation, I'm beginning to think they think I need help.

Well maybe not, but as I've said before having a great network of support can go along way with recovery.

As some of you may know I like the odd drink, I could go years without drinking, but when I do I binge myself, that's one of the problems we have down here in NZ, we love to binge drink.

Comfy Couches - SP

When it comes to furniture stores one thing I like to do is try out all the comfy looking couches on my way to the electronics department and boy are some of them comfy.

I've always wanted a couch that you could just melt into, something that would almost hug you, but I'd imagine just such a couch to be pretty expensive, well unless you can find somewhere that has it cheap.

I had no idea that David Nicolas the guy who made the fake Haiti UFO videos also made these other spectacular CG UFO videos.

Most of them were taken down from youtube, but luckily enough he has them up on this website for your viewing pleasure, Partizan.

Seems like I write about this topic every other week, maybe they're trying to tell me something, na, they don't know me.

Hilton Head Island - SP

Well I have no idea where Hilton Head Island is, looks pretty though.

What's on offer with Hilton Head rentals is a family friendly vacation, with a lot of water activities and what not.

Looks pretty nice kind of reminds me of a place I vacation at regularly, but that's just a town.

I guess when I have a lot of money to burn I will travel and stay in hotels and such, I just love those little coffee and tea packets.

Why is it most Bigfoot videos look fake?

I've been thinking of this ever since I started this blog, why is it most Bigfoot videos look fake? and how would I fake it better?.

This is part one of a two part post, in this part I'll talk about what I think makes a basic fake Bigfoot video up to something genuine, part two will be about how I'd fake it better.

Usually for me what gives a fake away is the costume and obvious attempt to hide that fact. For me the the first thing I look for in any new footage is for constant head dipping, even Batman has a hard time looking through a mask, other things I like to look for are your usual costume traits, loose fitting, gloves and sleeves. When trying to hide the fact it's a costume people seem the make the footage have a long lead up with a brief glimpse of the creature, shot from far away, behind trees or whatever, it's never that clear, well unless it's just some people having loads of fun.

On a slightly smaller scale you do get footage where you can see they actually thought about making the costume look real instead of just slapping on a gorilla suit. They've filled it out so it's not so loose, they made a cool looking mask and even made proportions different than a humans, say longer arms. In the end I feel it comes off looking odd and unnatural, just a little over the top.


Then you have the footage that keeps on keeping on, this is footage that is so inconclusive that you can't tell either way if it's fake or not, but there's a great story behind it and because of this it stays around for a long time getting discussed. Most of the time the subject looks real enough, though the footage is usually blurry, brief though good enough to keep everyone wondering.

And lastly you have footage like the Patterson-Gimlin film, unsurpassed for over 40 years as being the best footage of Bigfoot ever, I feel due to it being just amazing footage, it's still discussed in both camps with passion to this day.

If you're going to fake it make it as daring and as genuine as the Patterson-Gimlin film.

UFOs over Westport NZ

It's not often that you hear about UFO sightings down here in New Zealand, especially on the nightly local news. The news report was very brief, only reporting that it was strange, and that there was no air activity in the area at the time.

Basically the video shows two lights drifting across the sky, not much more than that.

Makes me feel like trying out my little spot, seems like it would be a great place, no light pollution with a huge view of the vista, only problem, the place freaks me out.

At first glance I thought they were just trying to pull a fast one because of all the reflections on the window in the room, but you can clearly see they're not up to anything apart from watching these lights over Vegas.

Because the lights are repeating their maneuvers over and over again I'm also wondering if they could be lights reflecting on the glass from a road below.

If not, they're some pretty cool UFOs, they move extremely fast, and stationary ones begin to move on a dime just as fast as the already moving lights.

Liver Cleansing - SP

I sure feel like I need a liver cleanse after last night.

I've always wondered in what shape I've left my liver in after I night out, is it extreme damage, is it insignificant, all I know is I crave chocolate milk the next day.

That can't be to good on my liver either, especially when the forth ingredient is a number.

I don't know, I always like having a good cleansing, not in the manner at the link above, but eating right, drinking lots of water and getting some nice fresh air.

I remember a long time ago hearing about these clubs where if you were a member you'd be able to purchase items at wholesale prices, though some of the product categories were a little weird.

Not so with directbuy, they offer members manufacturer-direct prices on a wide range of home improvement materials, even furniture.

I can imagine the savings you'd make on such products, it's expensive doing any kind of remodeling and cutting out the middle man can save you a bunch.

Prank Call gets very informational

So these kids decide to prank call some UFO and Crop Circle hot lines and film the events.

I mean my understanding of a prank call is the prankster should always be in control, turns out these kids may have learned something.

I think they may have called the BLT Research Team and stayed on the phone for like 40 some minutes, the video is a whole lot shorter.

All in good fun I guess and the BLT guy didn't seem to bothered.

I have no idea if the footage is genuine, but if they're puppets, where do I get one?

Romanian Bigfoot Photo

This photo was taken in Romania, you can read a little more about it over at Cryptomundo. Looks like man in a suit to me and also kind of like an action figure.

I don't know what it is but I'm always reading discussions about how it would be expensive to produce a realistic Bigfoot suit, something that could fool experts. I don't really accept that argument, I have a background in the arts and I've seen some pretty impressive creations from poor art students using materials found on the beach.

All that I feel would be needed is time, time for planning, time for sourcing materials and time for building.

Since I started this blog I've always had the idea of making a Bigfoot suit, but I'm sure that won't happen for a long time.

Iraq for Sale defines the perfect example of throwing money at something and seeing as nothing much happens.

The film is about government funded private corporations such as Blackwater, Halliburton/KBR and how these corporations are making killer profits from the war in Iraq. These companies aren't accountable for their actions the same way the government would be, so they get away with a lot of shit.

The war in Iraq is great for these companies profit margins, why would they want it to end?

It was a great watch, consolidates a lot of the info about these companies together, you could probably watch it online somewhere, but you didn't hear that from me.

What I found most interesting about it is the culture of solving problems with industry, find a problem, throw cash at it and watch as nothing much happens, hmm I wonder if it's because everyones getting rich off of trying to solve the problem?. Much like the war on terrorism, the war on drugs will never be won because of the ever evolving nature on the "enemy".

Another thing is the blanket laws that get pushed through as a way of fighting the problems, each time taking a little more of everyones personal freedoms, much like the patriot act.

Lol, and no, I haven't smoked anything.

Polk County Fireball Video

A Polk county man filmed this amazing fireball video on January 7, he filmed it for about 10 minutes before it disappeared behind the tree line.

What it shows is an object that seem to be falling from the sky, leaving a very long bright trail.

Experts have been consulted and they say that it could be a plain and contrail, observed in unusual conditions.

I can see how they came to that conclusion, sun set, not a cloud in the sky, with the contrail the only thing to be lit up by the lowering sun.

Pretty cool though, do y'all think it's just a plane?

Henry VIII's ghost caught on camera

Seems to me life the U.K got their own mysterious wave going on, texas has UFOs, Britain has ghost photos.

This latest photo taken by a woman staying at Samlesbury Hall, shows if you can see it a ghostly face, supposedly it looks like Henry the VIII. To me it looks similar to some of the Pareidolia images I posted awhile back on Strange Clips.

So my nieces first birthday is coming up, well 3 months away and it seems like my brother and sister in-law are gonning to have a big party for her. I think it's time I started looking for a present.

Huge 6-Gill Shark Video, Bigger than a Submarine

The video just below was filmed off the coast Moloka'i by I guess a research team, the size of the 6 gilled shark was estimated to be 17ft.

Lake Champlain ABC Footage Found

I've been looking for this footage for ages and today someone was kind enough to send me a link to it on youtube, it's only just been uploaded so hopefully it stays up.

It was pretty frustrating, because the the video on the ABC page would load up but wouldn't play the video in question.

I'd seen stills of the footage, but I was always under the impression there was more to it, the video is a news report that explains some of the history of Lake Champlain and champ the monster, it briefly shows old photos and video of what is said to be champ, then they move onto the footage shot by two fishermen.

To tell you the truth, the stills are just as good as the video, the footage shows strange ripples on the waters surface, but you can't see what's under the surface, the two men say they could see it, but the camera couldn't pick it up. We do get a brief glimpse of Champ, and it does looks serpent like, no fins like a fish, even Eels have fins, though it does look a little like an old timer Eel.

What I find cool about the video is that I finally get to see it after a years wondering, probably should have looked harder.

Movie Theater Chairs - SP

My local movie theater has gone through three chair cycles in its life time, the first set were comfortable, though by the end of the movie you'd wish to be sitting on the stairs, the second set where nothing special but comfortable. Now the latest set are pure luxury, big beefy seats with cushions as thick as my arm.

Kind of like these home theater chairs that you can get at very affordable prices.

I just earned myself another slice of pie.
