Here's Rich Giordano of Cnufos.com latest UFO video, he filmed them in Arizona over two nights. He believes his footage to be of flares and they sure do look like it, though his youtube description of the video gets into the area of debunking the Phoenix Lights, well I don't know if this video proves it, but it's pretty interesting.
His video seems to have a few things in common with these videos shot over Arizona a week or so later.

Another Captive Gray Video
Looks like the people who made The Captive Gray are at it again with their new video The Captive Gray 2.
This time the captive gray is in a holding room, the video taken from a security camera. This time around it's easier to see it's computer generated, though I like were they're going, I hope to see more.
My motto is "the more CG we see the better prepared we'll be to identify it."

The Los Roques UFO Series Continues

How should you present your UFO footage online?
If you're like me and have spent a lot of time watching UFO videos you've probably noticed the majority of footage that's available online is out of context, very rarely does footage show the events before or after and a lot of the time the camera is zoomed in so much that the surrounding areas are never seen.I'm grateful to be able to see any UFO footage at all, but I feel for it to be even more useful as evidence it should be presented in a way that provides as much information as possible, so here's a few things to keep in mind when presenting your footage online.
It's fairly simple really, keep the video in context, leave some footage in before and after the event and if possible while filming the UFO remember to zoom out once to get a comparison of the object to the surrounding area, doing this will give viewers of your footage loads more information to work with and it'll be less inconclusive than a light on a black background.
Now I know filming a UFO isn't a planned event and some people may want to remain anonymous, but keeping it in context will provide a sense of scale and reference for the viewer to explore.
Though now thinking about it, some videos that have these traits are usually hoaxes.
Dang, it's a no win situation these days.
The "Shoot Down a UFO" Petition
I can't tell if this is a joke, there's an online petition that aims to get the U.N to keep ready stealth fighters across the world to intercept and shoot down UFOs that do not have air space clearance.
I hope it's a joke, because the whole idea has no legs, if such an action were ever to be taken, well it would cause more problems for us earthlings than it would aliens, anyhow most countries watch their airspace already.
I also don't understand the motivation of the creators, on one hand it seems they want to know the truth, on the other it's a case of "destroy all aliens"
Anyway it's an interesting little read.

Added some new boards to the forums
Just added a couple categories to Our Paranormal Boards, first off we have Share your Experiences for all the the ghostly stories people want to share and secondly we have Paranormal Sounds, seem to be coming across a lot of sounds lately, so just to keep things organized I setup this board.
Also the newest member Direwolf posted an experience I can't explain, pretty interesting though, can't get my head around it.
I may as well go all in, over at my other blog Game Junker I posted a very cool CG video of a fans creation tittled Dead Fantasy 2, the video is an action packed, full on fight scene between the characters of Final Fantasy and the characters of Dead or Alive, one of the most excellent fan vids I've ever seen.
And finally, seen those BigDog videos?, well here's one that'll knock your socks off.

Guide to Carving with Tagua Nuts
I'm moving way off the paranormal with this post and moving onto my little hobby of small scale carving with the material Tagua Nut.
I began carving with the Tagua Nut and I know why my tutor at the time introduced us to carving through it, the Tagua Nut I feel is a great material for beginners to learn from.
About the Tagua Nut - The Tagua Nut comes from the Ivory nut palm found in the tropical rainforest's of South America, it has a brown outer layer and also has a little hole that can get in the way of carving, so when designing you should think about how to incorporate it. They vary in size but for the most part are the size of large plums, over time the color of the nut darkens and I've also noticed some shrinkage.
You can probably find the nut at your local woodturner shop for a few bucks each, if not they could probably ship some in, you can also order them online.
Preparation - There really isn't much, sand off the outer brown layer to reveal the ivory colored material and you're ready to go.
Tools - A lot of people use power tools such as Dremels to shape their carvings along with fine sand paper, needle files, vices and grips. I'm a hand tools man myself and use homemade tools for my shaping.
How to make the Tool - The hand tools I use I made myself, they comprise of a hard tool grade steel (Cobalt Super Blank Stock, most probably), epoxy glue and wood for the handle. I've only made these tools once, I made a set and I'm still using the same set, so the process of making them is a little hazy. The one aspect I'm a little hazy on is if I heated the steel to make it harder. I've searched on the net for the tools I made but haven't been able to find an exact match, I maybe giving away someones secret, sure hope not. The closest I could find were Gravers, but they have a straight edge and I haven't used them before, they look like they could give the same result.
Making the tool should be straight forward, get a piece of wood, drill a hole for the steel to fit into, fill it with epoxy glue and force the the steel into it and let it dry. After that you can shape the handle to fit your hand and create the point on the steel that you'll be using to carve.
What you want is two curved edges that come to a point like in the photos provided, use a grind wheel to get the desired shape and then a fine grind stone to get it sharp and smooth.
Carving the Nut - The great thing about the Tagua is it has no real grain to it, so no matter where you go with the nut it wont resist, unlike materials such as wood and bone where you have to take into account the direction of the grain for your designs.
The other thing to take into account is the little hole that each nut has, some cases you can sand it out, but because there's not much of the nut to work with anyhow, incorporating the hole can be a challenge.
With power tools the job can be quick, shape it out, file it and sand it to a final product, you may have to use vices and grips to stabilize the nut. The thing I don't like about using power tools is a lot of the time it comes out looking machine made, but I guess it all depends on how good the user is with the tool. This is why I like using hand tools, you get much more fine controls over the shaping, you get to take your time with the material for best possible results.
So using the hand tool that I described how to make could be a little hard to explain unless shown, but I'll try my best.
There are two main types of positions with this tool, the first is using the point like a chisel, pushing through the material to make a groove, though with the Tagua you may find it can chip is as you go. Legal Intervention against the Large Hadron Collider
Seems some people are a little worried about what effects the Large Hadron Collider could have on earth.
A website has been set-up in search for donations for a legal fund that hopes to set an intervention on CERN's plans for the large Hadron Collider, well until a full risk assessment has been done.
Sounds like a good idea actually, the colliders Sci-Fi huge and I can't think of anything on a scale similar to this project, so maybe they should think about all possible negative outcomes before they go full speed, makes sense.
Though I don't know a whole lot about the specifics of this project, with something so huge, there's bound to be things overlooked.

Aliens Abducted his family, turns to Youtube for help
Lots of swearing and a few moments that sound like shear terror, I've heard people make these noises in stressful situations, very uncomfortable. The video supposedly shows the last moments before an alien abduction.
My guess is they're trying their hand at creating an Internet hoax, there's a few problems with it, if you look at the description it looks like spam, the last moments of the video look way to melodramatic and why on earth would one turn to Youtube for help in finding their missing family.
Just a few tips for ya in case you want a do-over.

I would love a garbage disposal, never had one, the thought of throwing random things down one seems like fun to me. I don't know I feel in a little bit of a destructive mood tonight. Anyway these Blanco sinks look pretty good, nice and stylish.
My only wonder is if there's a sink in their collection that could save me time at work, would love that, get out a little bit earlier.

Travelling - SP
The last time I went traveling I used my old school bags to carry all my gear, well every time I've gone on holiday actually. I guess having some good travel supplies would help with fitting everything into the car and even keep everything in place at the hotels we stay at.
Well I'm not sure on that, everything seems to end up in a pile in the corner of the room, clean in the bag, dirty in the corner, no time to organize when we're out on the prowl.

UFO Photography Practice
I figured for me it would be hard to photograph UFOs, so I've started practicing.
Below are photos from my second Plane Spotting session.
So first off I got me a crop duster, dusting the hills just across the harbor.
I can't believe how much detail there is in the next two photos, never expected to be able to capture images like this with my camera, especially of a commercial airliner. I think these are of a Pacific Blue flight.

Yowie Caught on Camera
Paul Compton caught what he believes to be a Yowie (Aussie Bigfoot of sorts) on a trail cam, he estimated the subject to be four and a half feet tall, the photo was amongst nearly another thousand photos taken by the trail cam the week it was set up.Sure looks like something standing upright, can't really tell much with this photo though.
The last time the subject of Yowies appeared on this blog was about 2 years ago with this video, so you can probably guess how often Yowie photos surface.
I wonder if that videos been exposed?

The Paracast
Another podcast I listen to is the Paracast with Gene Steinberg and David Biedny, which I guess most people know off, it's pretty well known.
There's a great range of guests on that show and I've learned a lot from listening to the show.
I have little complaint about it though, I have a hard time knowing if I've already listened to the latest show sometimes, I actually listened to a show thinking it was the new one, it took me like ten minutes to realize it was the previous weeks show.
Other than that, great guests, great discussion.

First there was Zeitgeist the Movie, which took the net by storm asking the hard questions and presenting some provocative ideas.
They look set to do it all over again with Zeitgeist - Addendum.

Eerie Radio
I've gotten addicted to paranormal podcasts over the past few months, there are a lot out there some more to my liking than others. It's odd because I've never been one to listen to the radio much, but I just can't get enough podcasts.
Eerie Radio is one I can't get enough of, huge variety of guests, great news and an awesome community. The show is hosted by a group out of Indianapolis, Indiana and they cover pretty much anything from Ghosts to UFOs, Vampires to the Bermuda Triangle.
I love the flow of the show, they start out with a guest for an hour or so, they move onto paranormal News for the week and then onto community feedback.
I started listening at episode 44 "Nana is giving me the Evil Eye" which was about Gypsies, still my favorite episode, I could relate so well with what was being said, to some the paranormal is just normal.
There are so many past episodes to listen to that I just realized I don't have to wait for the new ones, I just have to listen to the archives to get my fix.
Definitely a must listen.

Drones on Fox News
I'd thought the whole drone thing was dead, left to decay in the abyss of the anonymous web, not so. Two private investigators are on the case, trying to track down a pole in hopes of finding the master mind behind these photos.
The Los Angeles Times has a great article about the two investigators efforts and now Fox News is getting in on the action.
If I were the person who created these photos, I don't know if I'd be worried or excited by the fact that I had P.Is after me.
I sure hope they find the pole, it's become interesting again.

Super Cure - SP
Well what do we have here, the miracle cure Orovo, it claims to help one loose weight, clear up acne and even get rid of those annoying wrinkles.
I wonder if it works, with 10 super foods included it can't all be bad and must actually do something.
I don't know, haven't taken vitamins and stuff for years, I can't actually remember if they made me feel any better.

Large Hadron Collider
I was sure they had already used this machine, I saw a report on BBC news about half a year ago talking about something similar, I wasn't paying to much attention and I've been wondering ever since, I doubt it was the Large Hadron Collider located in CERN, near Geneva, Switzerland.
Dark Roasted Blend has a mega post about the machine, photos, details and what not.
I can't think of anything that compares to the scale and magnitude of the LHC project, all that comes to mind are movies like James Bond, Contact and other various Sci-Fi movies.
The possibility that this machine could produce mini black holes, mini big bangs and even time travel seems out of this world, what's amazing is the project is so public, would expect something like this to be shrouded in secrecy.

The possibility that this machine could produce mini black holes, mini big bangs and even time travel seems out of this world, what's amazing is the project is so public, would expect something like this to be shrouded in secrecy.
It's hard to Photograph UFOs
Well I was outside yesterday relaxing out in the last of the summer sun, had my camera in hand. I had wanted to take a photo of a contrail, but I had to recharge my batteries and this is all I got, not in its prime but they're always around here, I think planes begin their approach to Wellington airport over where I live.
Unhappy with not being prepared, I just sat outside watching the skies when it dawned on me how prepared really was I if I did actually get the chance to photograph or film something strange in the sky.
Luckily there's no shortage of planes flying about over where I live, so I started trying to capture them with my camera.
In the hour and a bit I was out there five planes flew by and that's the best shot I got, fully zoomed in with no reference points to help me, it's bloody hard. I know that with more practice I'll get better and I think planes are the perfect thing to practice on.
I have a whole new appreciation for blurred photos and shaky footage now, fully zoomed in on a moving object, only the best tripod will help, taking photos of the moon was hard enough.

The Paranormal Hunt on the Forums
Just set up a board on the forums called the Paranormal Hunt, a scavenger hunt of the paranormal if you will.
The idea of the Paranormal Hunt is to collect the best information, videos, pictures, links about specific paranormal topics out there, in turn creating a great source of information for everyone. Trying to read the internet could likely make one mad, it's better when we all do it together.
I'd like to keep the hunts as specific as possible, keeping things focused on sub niches of the paranormal, UFOs would be cool, but it's to broad to cover in one thread, UFO Mothership Videos on the other hand would make for a great hunt. Add to the threads if you like and even start your own hunt.

Identifying Manipulated Images
There's so much faked material appearing online theses days that's becoming hard to keep up with it all, I'm getting suckered more and more. I guess it was invevitable that people would be exploring measures to help identify fakes easier and faster, only problem is they seem to be a little while off, well to me and you that is.

West Virginia Paranormal Project
Nicely done video by Tom Larkin about the history and hauntings of West Virginia State Penitentiary, said to be one of the most haunted places in America. He also has a few rough cuts and raw footage on his account and plans on doing more.

UFO Filmed over airport
The video starts out with the camera man talking to a woman at night in an airport, they are rudely interrupted by a UFO flying close overhead.
Totally fake and I think the whole scenario is a little played out, there's a lot of these kinds of clips on youtube, very good looking, great acting, but there's to many of them now, time to think up something new, maybe a video featuring the Mothman, that would be cool.

Orange UFO Cluster Over France
Obvious explanation would be a bunch of balloons, hard explanation would be something out of this world, for me i won't be satisfied with these kinds of videos until I see one where the cluster takes off at speed, maybe they don't do that, but it if it did, no one could claim the simple solution of balloons.

HDMI stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface and if you're into you entertainment you'll like know what it is.
So my brother needed an HDMI cable to get the best out of HDTV and PS3, because frankly it looked pretty bad without it. Once he got it he invited me over to watch a Movie on Blu-ray, it was pretty shocking actually, I kept noticing the make-up the actors were wearing, not that great when they're supposed to look like real vampires, but the special effects looked great on it.

Manbird12000's Los Roques UFO series
I've been following Manbird12000's videos for awhile now, it's turning into something of a proper story. His first creation appeared a short time after the Haiti craze, I guess in response to them. Even a couple months ago I saw some of his creations spreading around various video sharing sites described as actual real UFO footage, people seemed to be buying it as well, even though he makes it clear they are CG, I guess someone ripped them off of youtube.
Well I just checked in and there were a few new ones that I hadn't seen, so basically the story starts with a sighting and then more sightings, it all leads up to his latest videos which are of an all out invasion by these crafts.

Well I never knew what an unlocked phone was until getting this offer, I guess it means if you cell phone uses a Sim card and is also compatible with various frequencies then you can use that phone in many countries, I guess that's what my friend over in Aussie has to text and call us.

Villisca Axe Murders EVPs
Sinderella one of the newest members on the forums, well there's only three at the moment, myself included, started a thread about the Villisca Axe Murders of 1912, where a family were brutally murdered in their beds, the perpetrators were never caught.
Never heard of this story before and find it very interesting, the uncanny similarity in appearance between the Villisca house and the Amityville house for me makes it even creepier.
There are tours of the house you can go on and paranormal researchers have even done investigations there, the videos below come from the paranormal investigators PRISM.
The first video is of probably the best EVPs I've ever heard, very clear and it's hard to believe they weren't just actual people in the room with them, well ghost people sure. I've never heard an EVP quite like these, the ones I hear are usually very ambiguous.

My Paranormal Life now has a forum!!!
I've been thinking about setting up a forum to go along with this blog for awhile now, I don't have a credit card and probably never will, so that was kind of a block, plus it looked like it would cost a few hundred to start it up.
But luckily I've found a free solution that looks like it should work out well. Seems like it has unlimited bandwidth and space and that's what a lot of the other free forum options don't seem to have.
I've called it Our Paranormal Boards and I've kept it pretty simple for the time being with two main boards, the General Discussion board which I hope to be the hub for pretty much everything and the Paranormal Videos board where you can post up interesting paranormal videos, you can even embed youtube videos directly into the threads.
The other thing I've done with it is add a blog section, so if you're a paranormal blogger and want a board on this forum to share your latest post, make announcements, gain links etc the choice is yours, just hit me up with a reply in this thread here and I'll set you up.
So feel free to register to the forum and start posting to your hearts content, I'll be posting a lot of things on the forum that I won't be posting on this blog, stuff that I don't have the time to look into more.

Computer Rentals - SP
OK so one problem I have is with computers, it seems to take me 2 to 3 years to break them then I buy a new one, I'm up to my fourth computer at the moment and it's starting to make some strange noises.
I guess a solution to this problem would be through a computer rental, though for me it would have to work out to equal or less than what it takes to pay off a computer I would own.

UFO caught on tape on a flight from Rome to Paris
The following video was alleged to have been shot while on a Blue Panorama flight going from Rome to Paris in 2006.
It shows a UFO very close to the plane, as close as the wingtips, but to me it looks computer generated, if real I would imagine the UFO would cast at least a brief shadow on the planes wing.

Stealth Cam Captures Unusual Footage
I was sent this link by email on behalf of The Blogsquatcher of The Blogsquatcher blog, the link is to a site called Hunt Tv and there's a video in the lower left hand corner tittled "Unusual Footage Caught on Stealth Cam".
The camera just briefly catches something just as it's leaving the cameras view, it looks like a Bigfoot like something or other.
Pretty interesting, the guy in the video seems pretty genuine, it would be cool if they did some follow up, maybe film some people at the same location for comparison of size etc.
I don't know how long the video will be up on Hunt TV, I couldn't find any video archives.
EDIT: Everything ends up on youtube eventually.

Puppy video making people think again?
By now you've probably all heard of or seen the video of the soldier throwing a puppy off a cliff, there's all sorts of discussion around if it's real, I don't know but the video has hit a nerve with a lot of people, I just hope that in our 5 minute culture that it's not easily forgotten.
Since the start of the war I don't think I've seen such outrage from every day people since maybe the Abu Grade photos, the fact that people are dieing each and every day in the Iraq war seems to go unnoticed "it's sad, but what can I do?".
The puppy video seems to have people thinking about what this war is about and what is actually going on there, people are looking at the war from another emotional angle, not just seeing it as the same old war where people kill people, because to me it seems people are oblivious to this war, we've become desensitized, but what this puppy video has done I feel has provided a fresh angle by which to clearly see the horrors of war.
I started a blog a long while ago all about video footage uploaded by soldiers serving in these wars, I only made a few posts but as a result I continue to watch a lot of this type of footage and the most intriguing thing I've found is that they're just like me and my friends in the kitchen at work, when works slow we make jokes, prank each other, do crazy things, but when it's busy we're full on getting work done.
And that's what I've found while watching videos of soldiers serving, they're just a bunch of young people, doing their job, getting work done, but when times are slow it's time to make their own fun.
And that's very similar to what the Vietnam vets I know tell me in their stories, work hard, play hard and playing hard while fighting a war is a lot different than playing hard in the suburbs.
Young people plus boredom doesn't mix well, mix war and a place you don't really want to be into the equation and you've got something not to pretty at all.
Anyway this rants gone on long enough, long time coming I guess.

Patio Furniture - SP
Well summers almost over down here, the cold weather's creeping in and I feel like I missed out on summer, working a lot, family dramas and such. I would have loved to have spent more time lounging around in the outdoor furniture, gone for a few more swims at the beach and had a few more BBQs. Families UFO Secret
In 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri Reverend William Huffman was called out to pray for the victims of a crash, what he witnessed was a crashed UFO along with three Alien beings.
Charlette Mann, Reverend William Huffman's granddaughter recounts the families secret in the video below.
Very intriguing story and it would be so cool if that photo she was talking about surfaced one day, as it seems to me the photo in the video is a recreation.

East Texans Shares 'Family Secret' of UFO Sighting
Charlette Mann, Reverend William Huffman's granddaughter recounts the families secret in the video below.
Very intriguing story and it would be so cool if that photo she was talking about surfaced one day, as it seems to me the photo in the video is a recreation.

G.Whifler Sasquatch Footage
This short click from some old T.V show a presume shows some Bigfoot footage I've never seen before, can't find anything online about it with the details provided on youtube.
The clip shows some pretty clear footage of a Sasquatch investigating the woods, as Bigfoot do, along with captions detailing the footage, such as who filmed it G.Whifler (whoever that is) and it's authenticity which is "unconfirmed - Probable Hoax". The narrator who I think is EDIT: Edward Mulhare (thanks to a comment on BFF) just talks about the general characteristics of Sasquatch while the film is played.
I'm kind of pleasantly surprised because this seems like old footage and I've never come across it before, I'm sure it's a fake, but the creature looks cool as, very slender and the legs look almost unnaturally long, though it has a few problems with simply glancing down.

Ray Gun Tech
This looks like some kind of magic, point and hurt, no sound apart from yelps of pain, nothing to see other than jumpy soreness. I mean it really does seem like magic.

Dickinson UFO Video
This is a very pretty UFO video, very nice shot of a red moon and about half way through lights begin to appear and seem to multiply.
I don't think this video is new, maybe a year old, when I get some time I'll update this post with what I find.
