Green shopping

Green shopping, well I try, I've been using my own bags when doing the shopping these days, try to buy the products without all the unnecessary packaging and where possible shop at the small mom and pop shops, which are hard to find these days, used to be so many around, but they just can't compete with the super markets.

Other than I just don't buy all that much stuff at all.

Kickboxer trailer

Fun, fun movie.

Textbooks

When i was studying graphic design and art most of our textbooks were provided to us, saved us a hell of a lot of money. I had a couple friends studying medicine and their course related costs were sky high, always felt a little sorry for them, but hey, they're are now doctors and I'm a poor artist, well I could have a nice paying graphic design job right now, bu I'm just a little to ambiguous for that.

Willow Trailer

Awesome film.

Action Figures

Still got a huge bag full of my childhood toys, just can't bare to get rid of them, maybe if I ever have children they'll end up playing with them. Mostly have a lot of action figures and block, the blocks were for making the best as bases, which were demolished in seconds once the battles started, good times.

Jaws Trailer

Love this film, especially when it comes on TV unexpectedly on a hot summers night.

Myrtle Beach Hotels

Never really had the chance to go to a pristine beach before, got plenty of beaches around me, but they're more your untamed sort. So if I was ever to get the chance to visit and stay in any north Myrtle beach hotels, I'd jump at the chance. Place looks all kinds of fancy, luxury and I bet all inclusive.

Always find finding decent food when on vacation a bit of a mission, always end up at the mega chains or some bad local dive, so a hotel with a restaurant would be ideal.

Pet Sematary Trailer

Bloody movie scared the crap outta me back in the day, never quite trusted my cat again.

Cardboard Displays

I can't say I've ever considered using a cardboard display for anything, but I do say one would have come in real handy a few years ago. You see I was selling quite a few gift sized prints, quick colorful images produced to be affordable and great items for gifts. Some of them got lost, the reason, there really wasn't anywhere to display them, so they ended up laying in any old available space. A display would have come in real handy.

Waterworld Trailer

Gotta say I do like this film, some cool little ideas in it.

Fat Burners

So I've never taken fat burner pills, if I ever want to lose some weight I know exactly what to do, eat less, move more. Though I do guess that paying for something and knowing that it could be helping one to lose weight gives that little bit extra motivation to carry on with the eat less, move more situation.

I know people who have taken supplements to help them lose weight and for the most part they have kept it off.

Paranormal Activity Trailer

Almost exactly the same name as my other website Paranormal Activities, this new movie called Paranormal Activity is generating just a little bit more traffic for me than usual. The movie looks pretty creepy in a Blair Witch kind of way.

Phosphacore Weight Lose

What is phosphacore? it's a diet pill where the makers claim it can target abdominal fat, well I don't know about that. The thing is with most weight lose pills is that you're going to have to eat right and exercise for them to be very successful, because there's going to be a time when you want to stop taking these pills and if you haven't set yourself up a healthy life style, you'll probably put the weight back on.

An American Werewolf In Paris Trailer

Here's a much later follow-up, kind of to An American Werewolf In London. Watched this a lot, quite funny and some interesting CG for its time.

North Carolina Health

So what does bcbsnc stand for, well it stands for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, it's a health insurance company among other types of insurance. I don't have any type of insurance really, home and contents is about it. Health care is free here, but for something serious there is a waiting list, going private can speed things up greatly, but it's expensive. I have a private GP, which is expensive, so I usually go to the emergency rooms when I'm feeling ill, seems like I always get a better consultation with them to.

Dawn Of The Dead 1978 Trailer

Thought the idea for this movie was just about the coolest thing back in the day, I always imagined what I would do if there was nobody around, my conclusion was always to go to the mall.

Pet Supplies

My cousin used to work in a pet supplies store, she loves animals, so she loved working there. I think one thing bothered her to much, she wanted to take all the animals home with her. She got a pet through the store, but not from the store. A person came in with a cat in a very small cage, looking for a bigger one, because they were into an apartment building overseas, some how or another it became apparent that it really wasn't going to work, the dude wanted the cat to take the elevator to the ground floor to get outdoors, so my cuz offered to take the cat on here.

Highlander Trailer

One of my all time favorite movies when I was younger, haven't seen it in years and I don't know if I could stomach it nowadays, Highlander.

Barcodes

So I worked in an arts and crafts store years ago and to keep track of all the different artists creations we had barcodes and used barcode scanners to input them into the system and to retrieve all the info about the product. There was a system before that where we had to manually input all the info ourselves, now that was a headache.

Troll 2 Trailer

Supposed to be a really bad movie, I want to see it so bad, the trailer had me in stitches.

Twilight New Moon Trailer

I haven't seen the first, but I do like a good vampire story, not sure about this one though, to many topless dudes for my liking.

Seattle Law

I don't know if I'd ever need a Seattle personal injury lawyer, but who knows, I may find myself living there one day. I don't know if they deal with assault cases, would be interesting to find out what they could do. I was recently assaulted while out with a few mates, we all were actually and none of us saw who did it, they came from behind and before we knew it we were all on the ground dazed. It was an odd experience and all of us are fine, but it really is an odd feeling being knocked out.

Solomon Kane Trailer

Looks like it takes a lot from a lot of recent movies, but it still looks cool, a lot less shinny than the others.

AEDs

I've seen a few stories on the news where an AED has helped in saving a persons life, I think quite a few schools around my country have invested in them. There's certainly a wide range to choose from including the Philips AED range and they are a bit pricey, but hey whats the price when it comes to a life, unmeasurable.

The Fourth Kind Trailer

Not to sure about this movie, from the trailer it seems to have its moments, but could the thing just become cheesy.

Stand for my TV

I guess this blog has turned more into a movie trailer blog, trailers mostly from the 80s, movies I haven't seen in years and some that are probably not even on DVD yet, but I'm always keeping an eye out for them. My TV and kit is pretty sad at the moment, I want a nice HD-tv, tv stand and all that, so I can waste a load of time re-watching my old favorites, may even start reviewing on camera and chucking them up on youtube.

The Monster Squad Trailer

I know I used to watch this all the time back in the day, but for the life of me I can't remember any of it, even the trailer doesn't rattle anything. One to watch again one day.
