I really don't know what cell authentication is and after doing a little research I can say I still don't know any better. As far as I can tell it's a process in indemnifying if one has mycoplasma in the cells, which has something to do with how antibiotics affects them, namely that they won't work with someone who has mycoplasma.
Though I could be way off track with my understanding.
