I've been following Manbird12000's videos for awhile now, it's turning into something of a proper story. His first creation appeared a short time after the Haiti craze, I guess in response to them. Even a couple months ago I saw some of his creations spreading around various video sharing sites described as actual real UFO footage, people seemed to be buying it as well, even though he makes it clear they are CG, I guess someone ripped them off of youtube.
Well I just checked in and there were a few new ones that I hadn't seen, so basically the story starts with a sighting and then more sightings, it all leads up to his latest videos which are of an all out invasion by these crafts.

Lol I don't know about that, what I like about them is as far as I can tell they're someones home project. So wish I could make things like this, so many stories in my head I want to get out, stank thing is I ain't no writer for sure.

particularly as these sound-effect loaded, heavily-scored, overly image-concious and horribly over-produced efforts have almost nothing in common with it.
all this idiot has done is capitalise on that film and event in an attempted to ape it - particularly in terms of fake ambient noise and unnatural sounding dialogue - but his vanity wouldn't allow him to do without his mis-en-scene frills. take another look at that film. it's very different. the object is different. i even saw a version where he'd mapped his re-interpretation onto it in a zoom-in and zoom-out effect, revealing out to his model. it's close, but you can see the difference.
all this nonsense is either deliberate dis-information, or criminal self-interest by someone who thinks he's going to make movies who has just confused an issue.
look at the original film fly-by again and look hard. you'll know you were probably right the first time in that either that thing was really there, or if it's a fake it's a fake that's better than hollywood and one that's a lot better and a lot different than what this guy is pushing out to serve his resume.

You don't need to be part of Hollywood to be able to produce special effects better than Hollywood, get yourself the software, a half decent computer and a keen eye and you could be producing videos that fool people for years.
All this tomfoolery was sorted out back in 2007, you just need to research more and not take these videos at face value and use a little common sense.
