Water Mains

I had the bathroom sink break on my a couple weeks ago, it was a bit of a confusing moment, the tap was spewing out water and I hadn't ever dealt with plumbing before, it was late at night and calling a plumber would of had to wait till the morning, but I couldn't deal with leaving the tap running all night, so I thought I'd seek out the water mains, found them after a bit of night time detective work, turned them off and well, everything went smoothly from there.
