Addicted to Bidding

I'm always keeping and eye on an online auction or two, but I've never really had the nerve to place a bid. I know people who spend unusual amounts of time bidding, wheeling and dealing on auction sites, they usually end up buying the oddest things, usually for what seem like great prices. To an extent I think these people may be addicted to the thrill of bidding and buying. Though I'm not concerned I usually end up with the odd gift or two.
