I don't have any credit cards, the majority of the time I just don't need them, however there have been times where I have actually needed one, mostly related to online payment processing, you know, online shopping.
There have been times shopping online where I find a product that is only available online at one particular site, only problem is they only accept credit cards, it's times like this I really wish I had one.
The problem with credit cards is that if your souble from a parallel world is a slider, they will use your credit card and you'll have to pay for everything they buy.
