Cold Weather Gear

Beautiful day today, the sun was shining down with it's warmth, but as soon as you hit a shadow, nothing but icy coldness. I've been looking at buying some winter gear, but usually before you know it it's summer again. I've also been thinking about a motorcycle, something to just get me around, I'd imagine I would need cold weather motorcycle gear all year round if I got one.
