A reader left a comment on Doctor Fongs site leaving some brief info about the giant stone head, it's from Guatemala. You can read more about the stone head here, apparently it was destroyed by revolutionaries in the early 80s who used it for target practice.I get the impression that it's still some what of a mystery because it doesn't fit with the local style of carving.
