My Paranormal Life now has a forum!!!

I've been thinking about setting up a forum to go along with this blog for awhile now, I don't have a credit card and probably never will, so that was kind of a block, plus it looked like it would cost a few hundred to start it up.

But luckily I've found a free solution that looks like it should work out well. Seems like it has unlimited bandwidth and space and that's what a lot of the other free forum options don't seem to have.

I've called it Our Paranormal Boards and I've kept it pretty simple for the time being with two main boards, the General Discussion board which I hope to be the hub for pretty much everything and the Paranormal Videos board where you can post up interesting paranormal videos, you can even embed youtube videos directly into the threads.

The other thing I've done with it is add a blog section, so if you're a paranormal blogger and want a board on this forum to share your latest post, make announcements, gain links etc the choice is yours, just hit me up with a reply in this thread here and I'll set you up.

So feel free to register to the forum and start posting to your hearts content, I'll be posting a lot of things on the forum that I won't be posting on this blog, stuff that I don't have the time to look into more.

Texas UFO Sightings

Haven't been keeping up with the news the last couple weeks but this whole Texas UFO Sightings thing seems like big news, so I thought I'd better catch up. You'd think that with so many eyewitnesses there would be more videos and photos of the UFO floating about, but there's very little if anything, could have something to do with the $5,000 Reward being offered for footage or photos, only time will tell.

NOTE: I'll be updating this post when new info comes to light. And also let me know if the videos below work, if not I'll find alts.

So first we have initial reports.

Then we have Mufon on the case.

Larry King's even getting in on the action.

Now we have the military claiming the sightings are of nothing more than an F-16 Squadron.

UFO Sighting Checklist

I often wonder about some of the things I see in the sky, could they be UFOs or something else, most of the time what I see is well to small to make a big deal about, you know, try to take a photo of it and it comes out not looking at all like what your seeing.

Then again some of it could be due to some of the things on this list on How to identify a UFO, though my best UFO sighting doesn't fit well into the weather Balloon explanation.

I do like that I now have a list of things to look at in the sky, pretty cool.

Falling Skies news of the Paranormal

I can't actually remember where I came across this, anyway it's a social bookmarking site, like Digg, but it's just for paranormal news.

With the way some of the big paranormal sites present new news (not naming any), Falling Skies is a refreshing idea I think, not a new idea, but new to the paranormal community I think. All I think it needs is a dedicated community of followers, much like Digg has, to make it a great source for paranormal news.

I know I'll be following it and trying to spread the word.
