More than one Yowie in the photo?

Just having a little fun, no disrespect intended. Regarding the actual part of the photo that's supposed to be real, I really can't make heads or tales of it.

Yowie Caught on Camera

Paul Compton caught what he believes to be a Yowie (Aussie Bigfoot of sorts) on a trail cam, he estimated the subject to be four and a half feet tall, the photo was amongst nearly another thousand photos taken by the trail cam the week it was set up.

Sure looks like something standing upright, can't really tell much with this photo though.

The last time the subject of Yowies appeared on this blog was about 2 years ago with this video, so you can probably guess how often Yowie photos surface.

I wonder if that videos been exposed?

Identifying Manipulated Images

There's so much faked material appearing online theses days that's becoming hard to keep up with it all, I'm getting suckered more and more. I guess it was invevitable that people would be exploring measures to help identify fakes easier and faster, only problem is they seem to be a little while off, well to me and you that is.

One downside I can see happening is that it could force people to make better fakes.

Photo of UFO in London, a speedometer?

Cool looking UFO photo, shot by a student taking tourist shots in London. You can see the photo and get the full story here, I don't know what that sites retention is like so here's an alternative link to the photo on Phantoms and Monsters.

The article mentions that experts feel it's genuine, but they seem to come from the angle that it's not fabricated or a hoax. If you look at the circumstances the photos were taken in maybe it could be a little simpler, taken from a car, were they shot through glass? and could it be a reflection?, to me the UFO looks like an illuminated speedometer reflecting off glass.

But hey, I think there's a couple more photos from this person, so who knows.

Romanian Bigfoot Photo

This photo was taken in Romania, you can read a little more about it over at Cryptomundo. Looks like man in a suit to me and also kind of like an action figure.

I don't know what it is but I'm always reading discussions about how it would be expensive to produce a realistic Bigfoot suit, something that could fool experts. I don't really accept that argument, I have a background in the arts and I've seen some pretty impressive creations from poor art students using materials found on the beach.

All that I feel would be needed is time, time for planning, time for sourcing materials and time for building.

Since I started this blog I've always had the idea of making a Bigfoot suit, but I'm sure that won't happen for a long time.

Update: Thanks to the Anonymous commenter in the comments below for this video, the subject looks awfully a lot like the one in the photos. I found a version on youtube, coz well I'm addicted to the place.

Bigfoot Wars on Mars while Freeman Portals in Controversy

After a week and a half of neglecting my feed reader and with my bookmark blitz over I think it's time to take a look at what's been going on.

Arse!!! this is going to take ages... no probs, I'm cool wit it.

So apparently it's easier to photograph Bigfoot strolling around on mars. It does look like some sort of relic, but it's so just a natural rock formation, isn't it? Update: the things probably really tiny, like 10 inches tiny.

This headline stood out, Ancient Bigfoot Wars, great idea and I'd like to think they did so along side Jedi. Seriously though could it be possible?

The World’s Most Infamous Staged Photos, informative article about photo manipulation, not the photoshop kind but the misleading kind, includes some very famous images.

Now I'm freaked out by mice as much as the next person but the idea of a bull sized rodent would actually make that fear logical.

A refreshing non paranormal weekend

Had myself a great weekend under the sun by the local rivers and beaches, well Sunday was sunny, Saturday was a little overcast, still hot though. I think it was just what I needed, two days off in a row to call my own.

Got a few photos of my weekend, hope y'all like.

Strange Creature found in Russia

What could this mysterious Creature found in Russia be?

I first found out about the images here, great forum, my first impressions also were of a Horseshoe Crab, though it looks like they've found out what it is, a Triop.

If you check out the first link it is said the creature in these photos measured around 5 feet in length and a lot of the other places I have seen the images claim similar large sizes and varying stories as to its origin. If you really look at the pictures though you can see that it is tiny.

Anyway bought back fears of face huggers for me.

O'Hare UFO Photos Help

Does anyone know if these images are genuine photos from the O'Hare UFO incident from last year.

Here's the link to the blog post which has a few photos of a craft over an airport, the post is talking about the recent National Press Club, UFO conference.

I feel I've seen the photos before, but it has been hard to track them down to a source that talks more about them, probably photoshoped or something.

I did get some Lunar Eclipse Photos

The weather cleared up a little and I managed to get some photos of the Lunar Eclipse before the clouds rolled in. I spent a good half an hour watching as the white light of the moon disappeared and a deep red took over. Took loads of photos and some video, the videos are kind of stank, can't use digital zoom in video mode.

Just popped over to Bob's Blog and he's been busy getting some images of the eclipse as well, beautiful shots.

Anyway here's some photos of the eclipse.







The colors may differ from photo to photo, I was using different exposure times to try and get the best results possible, I also used digital zoom along with optical, maybe be a little grainy.

The Day I Saw a UFO

I Wrote about this awhile back, it was actually one of my first posts to MPL, I've always meant to make something graphical to show what we saw with out explaining to much.

I still have doubts, it could be a weather balloon, but it really doesn't make sense. We watched the two objects for quite awhile, the white ball seemed solid and perfectly round and the metallic square was flat, seemed the size of a car hood maybe bigger and was spinning in all directions, they looked to be at the same height and seemed a good distance away from each other.

The picture shows pretty much what we saw, we couldn't see anything attaching the two objects, the picture also shows how large these objects were, we could clearly see them and apart from the features I mentioned above there was nothing else of detail.

Could it just be a weather balloon?

Pareidolia Photos PH Creative

I originally took these photos for my other blog Strange Clips, but that blog is on hold for awhile, so I thought I'd be a good citizen and recycle.

Basically Pareidolia is seeing recognizable images in random things, these are from various places around my house, mostly the toilet floor, good vinyl there, I did another set before these ones which some may have seen.

Pretty slow on the supernatural front, so I think it's time to show off some more of my photography and photoshop.

This is a picture from a series I am making for my other blog Strange Clips. Most of the images will be of clouds and using photoshop bringing out the shapes I see in them, from angels to animals to full on scenes.

Ghost Video from An Alabama Graveyard

I'm not sure if I have posted this ghost video before, it's been laying around in my bookmarks for ages.

It's said to have been shot in Geraldine Graveyard in Alabama, that's what the video description said anyhow. It shows a your typical graveyard night shots and at one point you see what looks like a figure standing next to one, the video will guide you through.

Not the best ghost video footage around, but still pretty creepy. I tend to feel that headstones can really play tricks on people, so many shapes can appear on them and the imagination can get pretty wild. But with this video it's pretty hard to tell, headstone, ghost, hoax, who knows?


Just a note about headstones playing tricks, I took this while randomly trying to take photos of ghosts. When I first saw it I got a pretty good shock, I thought I was seeing the grim reaper behind the first headstone on the left, I still don't know exactly what it is, but I feel it is part of the headstone.

A Fairy in my Tree, Haunted Photoshop

I like to take pictures of random things, most of the time the photos I take just end up filling my hard drive, but I keep them anyway because I can always use them for something.

As In this case I saw what looked like a fairy in the upper right hand corner of the photo, it's not a fairy though and with photoshop I added a nose and eyes. That's all that has been done to the photo with photoshop.

It doesn't have wings though so maybe it looks more like a pixie, I really don't know the difference?

I think I'll keep this a regular thing, I have loads of photos that with a little tweaking could make for some very cool looking images.
