G.Whifler Sasquatch Footage

This short click from some old T.V show a presume shows some Bigfoot footage I've never seen before, can't find anything online about it with the details provided on youtube.

The clip shows some pretty clear footage of a Sasquatch investigating the woods, as Bigfoot do, along with captions detailing the footage, such as who filmed it G.Whifler (whoever that is) and it's authenticity which is "unconfirmed - Probable Hoax". The narrator who I think is EDIT: Edward Mulhare (thanks to a comment on BFF) just talks about the general characteristics of Sasquatch while the film is played.

I'm kind of pleasantly surprised because this seems like old footage and I've never come across it before, I'm sure it's a fake, but the creature looks cool as, very slender and the legs look almost unnaturally long, though it has a few problems with simply glancing down.

Could this be Bigfoot who stole Christmas

Or could it be the albino Grinch? The video seems like your average holiday movie, taking video of the Christmas lights to send to mom. The thing appears at the end of the video, it's white in color and has a very strange looking arm position, looks about the size of a person and not very Bigfoot like.

I just can't get the idea of someone stealing a TV out of my head.

Fakes of the day

I say fake, but really there's no way of knowing unless I get a little more in depth, but first impressions to me say it's fake.

These videos have beautifully contrasting forest scenes and in making a fake I would have put the subject off in the distance to walk amongst the trees, the subject would have emerged from the shadows in the first video only to disappear as it walked across the scene. In the second video the light source would have made for a great Bigfoot silhouette with the shadow making it hard to determine any hard details.

I really think they are pretty, the setups cool to, kind of an over the shoulder action cam in parts.

The Big Paranormal Stories of 2007

With the end of the year fast approaching it's time to look back on what made the past year so special, for me a few things stick out, they may not the most paranormal stories of the year but they were huge items that took the paranormal and mainstream web by storm in 2007.

There are loads more big stories from 2007 but frankly I can't remember them all, feel free to add to the list with a comment.

The Italian Air Force UFO Video was one of the first big ones to hit early on in 07, it may even be from 2006? with its straight forward no nonsense realistic approach it quickly spread across the web as something spectacular. I don't know what conclusions were made but to me it's most probably computer generated, I certainly got a whole lot of traffic because of it.


The Drone photos left people thinking to good to be true, but over the weeks as more photos from seemingly different sources surfaced I think people started to wonder what if? Then came the Isaac documents which led to in depth analysis and discussions and then it all dried up. Well apart from the computer generated videos that seem almost as good as the photos.


ZEITGEIST the Movie has gone from strength to strength, with all the different versions floating about it's hard to gauge just how many people have seen it, maybe in the tens of millions. The movie dares to ask questions about religion, the terrible tragedy of 911 and how and who may be controlling our world. Presenting information in a way that lets you wonder about the truth yourself and to find your own good ideas.


The Haiti UFO Videos spread like butter on my morning toast, but was quick to be debunked by dedicated people who knew their shit, though through all the hype I don't feel that came across all to well. Something that didn't catch on like the main videos was the news that the creator had come forward. Seems like every fifth new UFO video on youtube is the haiti one.



The Jacob's Bigfoot photos I didn't follow all that much, but it was a huge story, my feed reader was full of headlines for this one and still is for that matter. It gained mainstream media attention, most of the time with a smirk. I still can't make out what it's doing or where the head is supposed to be, but I did see some overlays recently that made it make more sense.

The Gas Station Ghost is the baby of the lot, spreading and doing its thing. I find it unique, it's blue and does some strange things.


There are loads more but I probably don't remember them because I didn't follow them, Cryptomundo has a great list of The Top Ten Cryptozoology Stories for 2007.

Bigfoot Sounds on Video

I remember hearing some recordings of supposed Bigfoot sounds a while ago and it was some freaky shit, I can't remember where I heard them but I think they were similar to the sounds in the video below, only louder.

Looks like the videos done the rounds but I thought I'd post it anyway, Bigfoot's one of my fav subjects and I gotta catch em all.

It sounds almost artificial to me, but I know when I hear strange animal noises I get a case of the unbelievables.

Florida Skunk Ape Video

I can't make out anything at all in this video, that's why I'm posting about it. Why would someone go through the trouble to write up a good description and story behind a video, only to not be able to make out anything.

I don't know, if anyone can make out anything please let us know.

The video has a lot of image noise and from the description what they saw was human like only larger and had light-brown hair and took off when they tried to approach. It was shot in Florida so Skunk Ape comes to mind.

Is it just a lame hoax or could it be they saw something genuine but had bad luck with a crappy camera.

The Mangy Explanation

Following up from my last post "Chupacabras Video" I'd like to talk some about the two most recent cases that have mangy explanations.

I've seen this article circling about quite a lot, "How Monsters are Made" which discusses the latest Jacobs Bigfoot photos and the recent Texas Chupacabras.

What the article discusses is mainly why I hadn't posted about those two cases previously, I wanted to but hey the simplest explanation is usually the best, both looked like sick animals to me and the "Bigfoot" one, well I've looked at those photos heaps and I still can't make out what the hell the animal is doing. From most Bigfoot sighting reports I have read, those photos don't really sit well with a lot of the descriptions, Bigfoot is hairy, and old Chupa, well there's a whole other description for what it may look like.

I just hope that the mangy explanation doesn't become the first call in identifying such evidence, especially with the main stream news coverage that these cases have had, the last conclusion is usually the first in the next story of its type. I feel you have to take on each new case individually and without hard evidence the research will be a lot harder and conclusions will usually result in theories.

Oklahoma Casino Bigfoot Footage Reconstruction

I remember reading about this ages ago and went on a frenzied search trying to track the video down online, but all paths led to the video either being destroyed or disappearing into bureaucracy.

It sounded like an amazing piece of footage judging from descriptions of people who knew people who had seen it (hmm). It was shot from a security cam overlooking a grease pit next to a Native American casino (I think it's this one) in Oklahoma. Apparently a research team was called in to investigate, news had leaked to the media at this time and the video disappeared, I don't think any one knows quite what happened to it, but most of the speculation centers around the two reasons previously mentioned.

It seems like the casino didn't want to draw any attention and cut everything off short and there's not a lot of info about the incident. Good on them i guess, but I sure would have loved to see that footage.

If the video looks anything like this computer generated reconstruction it really would have been amazing, though we'll probably never know.

Some say this is authentic footage of a female Sasquatch, I say it's a man in a gorilla suit, look at the way the subject is walking, just seems to manly.

Sooke Bigfoot Footage

Not much to say about this one, the description with it says it was filmed while on the way to work winter 2006, Sooke is in Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. The figure before the video freeze frames certainly looks big and burly, but it pauses at a point where you'd expect at least 5 more seconds of footage of the figure.

Sasquatch a Protected Species in King County Washington

So it goes like this, a guy wants to sell his land, King County officials come in and tell him that they've just decided to designate most of his land as wetlands and that no development could take place because it is habitat for protected species.

One of the species on the list is Bipedes Giganticus something or other, BIGFOOT.

The video explains it a lot better, it's from C-Span.

Not exactly fake, more of a short film in the vain of The Blair Witch Project.

It's pretty creepy, has a Evil Dead kind of feel to it, mixed in with some Rob Zombie. On another note I think Rob was supposed to be making a Sasquatch movie, I know he has a Bigfoot comic book, pretty cool.

This video has been around awhile, I first heard about it on Cryptomundo, but I never got to see the video, it was taken down from youtube, but thanks to Squatch Detective the video is back on youtube.

It's one of those "to good to be true" videos, this isn't one of those blobsquatch videos and it's even harder to make out if it is human or not, though from the cryptomundo report it does seem a little like the wookie suit they show.

There was an investigation into the video but after communication with the shooters stopped, I guess the investigation couldn't continue and the video was deemed to not be authentic for that reason.

This is a list of the top 5 Bigfoot videos that haven't been debunked, IMO, most of them have not been proven either way to be genuine or hoaxes though skeptics, believers and researchers all have their own evidence, opinions about them, will we ever know either way at all?

5. The Redwoods Bigfoot Film
Filmed August 28, 1995 in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park by a film crew from Waterland Productions. Though the video is pretty dark you do get to see a very burly figure and supposedly you get to see it's dong. You can read the Redwoods Video here plus watch the original and enhanced videos as well, much better quality than the youtube version.

4. Manitoba Bigfoot Footage
Filmed April 16, 2005 by Bobby Clarke, on the Nelson River, Manitoba. Maybe this should be number 5 or not on the list? it's not the best footage ever, what I found interesting about the Manitoba Bigfoot story is that Bobby Clarke sold the rights of the video days after filming it, would I do that? probably, unless the evidence was good enough to convince people to go into the mountains with guns, then I'd probably think twice.

3. Memorial Day footage
Filmed in 1996 by Lori and Owen Pate, Chopaka Lake in north central Washington State. I'd have to say very similar to number 4 of this list, a lot clearer and was witnessed by multiple people, but to me doesn't seem very convincing, but what do I know I'm just an arm chair enthusiast. The Memorial Day Footage is on this list because it hasn't been proven either way fake or genuine, like the rest of them.

2. Paul Freeman Bigfoot Footage
Filmed 1994 by Paul Freeman, near Blue Mountains, Oregon. Probably one of the best Bigfoot videos ever, though there is a little controversy surrounding some of Freeman's other evidence. Here is some more footage of what is said to be of a dangling baby Bigfoot.

1. Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin, Bigfoot Footage
Filmed 1967 by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin, Bluff Creek in Northern California. Yeah you probably guessed this would be number one, in the 40 years since this film was shot I don't think any other video has come close to being as good as the PG film, the clarity of the video, the details of the figure it's still the best out there I think. There are a few other videos that may be a lot better than some of the ones above, maybe not in background story, but in video quality, some of which are already posted here. I have no conclusion, all I have to say is what would you take off of this list and what would you replace it with and why?

New Bigfoot Video from Easterville

Here's another Bigfoot Video from youtube, here's the description that came with it:

"My nephew & his buds seen & captured this Bigfoot on their camera phone...it didn't even notice them approaching cause of the wind...very interesting....Enjoy."

My first impression was of someone in a black hoody and why wasn't the person filming the Sas below the waist.

Anyway the video shows a pretty big stationary figure not far from the person filming. It's really close and if it weren't for the quality of the camera we may have had a better look at it, you could also attribute the length of the clip to it being from a camera phone as well I think.

I can understand the statement as to why they could get so close without being detected by the figure, but why didn't they video the legs? To me the figure bares a striking similarity to what is seen in the Patterson footage then again it looks like my mate in a black hoody.

There's something strangely familiar about this Bigfoot video, I don't want to say why I think that is because I could be wrong.
It is like most other Bigfoot videos, the title says it was shot in Corn Creek. The footage is short and of bad quality, the scale of the subject is pretty confusing, to me it at least, it looks small and also big, I don't know?
