To tell you the truth I have no idea what to make of the images in the video below, if I take them as I see them, they're some pretty phenomenal paranormal photographs, but I also have the feeling that I may be missing something, don't know a whole lot about the photos and the Hamiltons.

Luckily then there's a whole archive of images and info to explore here, some 700 odd photos.

Sheesh, more rainy day research for me.

Child Ghost Appears in Mobile Phone Photo

This is a pretty creepy ghost photo, reported by the Daily mail and photographed by 17-year-old Matthew Summers of his friends in Billingham.

The photo shows what appears to be the face of a child, the photo has been dismissed as nothing more than pareidolia by Most Haunteds Ciaran O'Keeffe.

Seems like to much of a simple explanation to me, the face is very distinct and seems to cross in front of one leg and behind the other, it also blocks out the continuation of the heater in back. Could it be photoshop?

Pretty cool ghost photo anyway.

Just saw some pretty creepy ghost photos over at World horror stories if y'all want to check them out.

I'd say pretty easily faked, but boy are they affective, if real you don't get to see em like this very often.

Demon over the shoulder

Here's a video showing what looks like a demon over a mans shoulder, taken in Aurora at a wedding reception, the demon looks kind of like a dog.

The video at the link will give you the full story. Looks very convincing to me, it was shown to rocky mountain paranormal research society, their comments were that it was very interesting, but there was a lack of evidence to conclude much.

Cool picture, it does look like what it looks like, but other than that can you really go any deeper into it?

Can anyone shed anymore light on these ghostly photos

I was kindly sent the following photos from Sharon who has been having problems with here bedside lamp, as in it turns itself on at night, she thought it faulty so replaced it with another, same thing happened so yet again she got a replacement, three lamps and it still turns itself on, Sharon even employed the services of an electrician to check things out, but nothing seemed wrong.

So one night Sharon decided to take some photos, the light turned on, she sat up, turned it off and quickly took some snaps, she says that the room was pitch black while taking the photos, but the results certainly show something.

Sharon also mentioned that other strange things have happened at her home, such as items going missing, all of them hers.

Sharon used an Olympus Fe-210 digital camera to take the photos, the exif data indicates the exposure times were around the 4 second mark.

I checked over the photos but I'm not the best at analyzing this kind of thing, what I found interesting was that what ever it was, it's being either illuminated from beneath or casting light down, also in the first photo there seems to be two directions of movement which seems a little odd for it to be caused by motion blur.

I was wondering if anyone else could shed any more light about what may have caused these, so if anyone could provide an answer or more information for Sharon that would be awesome.

Opinions needed on a ghost photo

I was sent this photo by a lady named Becci who has a blog called Becci's Bungalow, I don't usually get to many emails from people sending me ghostly images so this was a real treat. My first thought upon seeing the photo was "apparition" seeing that you can see a profile view of a face really clearly, if you put it into photoshop and adjust the brightness a little the features become more prominent.

Becci also gave me a little history about the photo, the photo is of her mom and her moms two sisters, their mom had passed away a few years before this photo was taken and was taken in Richmond, Michigan. Becci says that the ghostly profile in the lower right hand corner resembles her great grandmother.

I asked Becci if I could blog about this photo to get some more expert opinions about it and she was happy for me to share it.

So what does everyone think?, I think it's a really good example of a ghost photo.

Can you see what I see? Photoshop adjustments

I put the photo from my previous post into photoshop and inverted it and played around with brightness and contrast levels and the result has spooked me some, I'm not saying that it is of a ghost, I just find it interesting. One thing that I have always done through out my life is to look for faces in random things, mostly from floors and wallpaper, this may sound strange, but it's something I think we all do. Take the face on mars, we all saw a face because it looked like a face and humans like to recognize faces.

Well anyway, I'll be taking photos of my toilet floor soon and posting some of the cool images I have seen in it, this post will make a lot more sense when I do and I won't sound so crazy.

Or am I seeing things?

Ok I was looking through photos for the weeks topic at Photo Hunters which is Architecture, My brothers girl friend took this photo with my camera while we were on a little road trip. Plenty of small town along the way with old buildings and we stopped at most of them taking photos and such, I've had this set of photos for a couple of months now and never noticed anything.

Am I just seeing faces? probably.

Thought I caught me some UFOs, Just Orbs though

When I came across this shot while browsing a batch of photos I had taken I thought that I had captured some UFOs, a second later I remembered that they were birds, if I hadn't remembered that I would probably still be thinking that I had caught UFOS on film.

I think it's so easy to mistake objects for more than what they are, really have to be careful. If I had of come on here and blogged about what I thought I had caught in a photograph I probably would have got slammed with a bunch of negative feedback (when I say slammed I mean a comment or two).

This brings me to orb photos, awhile back I posted about how I was going to try and capture orbs in photos in these posts Ghosts Monsters Orbs and aliens, Hunting for Orbs but got me a Dragon, as you can tell back then I had a bit more respect for the whole orb phenomenon but since then I am now taking a load more photos and what I have found out is that orbs a very very common, about 1/8 of the photos I take have orbs in them and I put all of them down to dust, smudges, light etc. Atleast until I see one that looks really cool. So what I'm going to do is try and come up with a technique that'll produce orbs every time and share it with y'all.

Also the catagories don't work that well so I'll have to wait untill I get offered beta.

Photo Friday Bright

I was just taking random pics from the passenger seat of my friends car, so far I think this is the best photo I've taken with my new camera given that we were driving at about 30kmh down a busy street and this was taken through a dirty wind screen as the next picture will show.



None of this is very paranormal but I thought the imagery fit this blog and how easy it is to pick up things that look like Orbs, not to impressed with orbs anymore especially after taking many pictures like the one above which is obviously dirt on the wind screen.

Grassy Noll ghost photo

Well it's been awhile between posts, my old computer broke and left me without access to the net. I pulled it apart and fiddled around carefully like, that didn't work, I tried cleaning every inch of it, that didn't work. I tried so many things to get it to work again, in the end I just started kicking and punching it, none of it worked so I went out and bought a brand spanking new machine, it's so much more speedier than my old machine I love it. Funny thing is I tried to boot up my old computer and it now works, every time I start it, dang computers.

Well since I've been gone I've received a few emails from people who seem to read my bloc, it's always great to get feed back from people. Makes me feel good that there is a purpose for this bloc.

I received this ghost picture through email from a person called Cat, Cat gave me some good feedback about this bloc which is very appreciated, she pointed out the objective feel of it which was cool because that is what I'm trying to achieve with this bloc, any how here's the info and ghost photo...

"It was taken in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia. That part of the province is quite hilly. It is also in the area of Fort St Anne, a citadel that was built in the 17ooÂ’s and Port Royal, the 1605 French settlement. Lots of entities would certainly wander here."

I think it'sfairlyy convincing, very crisp clear image of a human like figure making it's way up a grassy bank, I let y'all decide. Thank you Cat for sending me this picture, I like it very much.

I also got an email from the runner of the site Town Called Dobson, It's an online comic strip and what got me interested in it was the story line "It is based on a true story - a UFO cult that talks to evil space aliens on a ouija board. That is the true part!" I like the simplesleekk style of the strips and had me a few giggles.

Back to the asylum

We went back to the asylum again last night, we had a few more friends this time, there were 7 of us. When we got to the site half of us chickened out and we all debated weather or not we should go in, 3 went back to the car and 4 of us stayed. We stepped into the doorway of the entrance and continued to debate if we should go in, while this was happening one of my friends fell over and cut his hand, he took off back to the car and the rest followed. All this happened within about 5-10 minutes so I didn't get to take many photos and the photos that I took didn't reveal anything.

For a first attempt at doing something like this it failed miserably, some people didn't want to be there, some had been drinking and I don't think I had done enough research on the place. Had there been ghost sightings there before, I didn't know I went in blind but as we were heading home one of my friends said he'd seen lots of things around this hospital that he couldn't explain, I really don't know but next time I go on a ghost hunt I'm going to be a lot more prepared.

Hunting for Orbs but got me a Dragon

I said in a previous post that I was going to try and capture some spirit orbs in some photos, I have been trying but haven't taken any photos. I don't want to take any photos at my house just encase I capture something (I'd crap my pants), so I've been trying to in some of my friends houses but they always ask me why I want to take photos, I tell em that I want to see if I can capture ghost orbs, they give me a funny look, laugh a little and then get a serious look on their faces, so no joy with the friends. I've thought about going to some graveyards in the area but what I've noticed about orb photos is that they are mostly night time pics or in dark buildings, I don't want to be in a graveyard at night.
I can't think of any other options at the moment, I think I'm just going to have to have my camera on me at all times and strike when the times right.
