Ghost Girl in Cucuta South America Video

I can't believe I missed this one, It could be more interesting if only I knew some Spanish?

The video shows a few bits of footage from Cucuta on I think the national news station of Colombia? The first segment has two related videos I think, one showing a very big, bright orb like object, and a photo of a very scary looking ghost girl, like "The Ring" type of look. The next video shows two men, only after a few seconds one of them disappears. The last bit of footage shows a ghostly mist in a cemetery.

With the orb video it looks pretty cool, but it doesn't quite look right, the movements seem like they are being affected by something else.

The ghost girl photo is definitely the best reason for checking out the video, along with the mist video at the end, just plain creepy.

The two men clip, well that's a little not so spectacular, there's about 6 seconds difference between frames.

The last clip of the mist in the cemetery is pretty cool looking, it kind of reminds me of the black smoke in Lost.

Without knowing what is being said makes it a little difficult to determine what's going on, but it's some pretty interesting footage anyhow.

Manassas Civil War Ghost Video

This video was taken by a man and his family while on a trip to the Manassas battlefield, the video shows a field, a big white house and a woman walking across the field that looks like she is in period dress.

The description with the video says that they didn't notice any body else around at the time of the filming, but only noticed her after viewing the video weeks later.

I know from my home movies that when viewing them I see people that I didn't notice at the time, but I don't know with this video. It has a nice look at the surrounding area and it seems fairly quiet, it would be simple to create and these areas probably have a lot of reenactments going on.

But there's just something about the figure that just makes me think ghost.

More about the location of the MPL ghost hunts

In two previous posts My Paranormal Life Investigation Video and MPL Investigation Video 2 I didn't write to much about the location that we visited, mainly because I want to retain a certain level of anonymity.

I'm gonna write about the location briefly because I found a story that describes something similar to the experience that the MPL team had. The cemetery we visit is Karori Cemetery in Wellington, New Zealand. It's the second largest in New Zealand and holds about 80,000 souls, it's a very pleasant cemetery but a little freaky, especially at night. We have been there a third time since the second post, just to see if we could see the ghost again but I'll write about that in a future post.

Now the story I found is not even a paragraph long but it describes a floating orange light that drifts among the head stones. What we saw was drifting, more of an off white yellowy colour and not floating among the head stones, basically it was the same thing.

New Zealand paranormal sites, where are they?

The reason I ask this is because I was thinking about doing a post about the Moa, an extinct bird from New Zealand. There was a photo taken a number of years ago that was supposed to be a Moa but it was very blurry and inconclusive. I thought that some one in New Zealand would still be looking for the extinct bird but I haven't found anything. So I thought I'd widen my search to "Cryptozoology New Zealand" couldn't find anything, I broadened the search even more to "paranormal New Zealand" found a little but not a lot.

I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of paranormal sites from New Zealand and how difficult it is to find them.

So what I think I'm going to do is put together a series of posts that hopefully consolidate all of the paranormal news, sites from all different areas of the paranormal that relate to NZ, along with what I usually do around here.

I did find a site for a paranormal investigations team from my home town of Wellington, funny thing is my old photography teacher from about 9 years ago is in the team, hehe small world(town).

MPL Investigation Video 2

The fact that we saw something ghostly and all I could do was stair is really bugging me. Let me fill y'all in, we decided spontaneously that we should go and do a little ghost hunting not really expecting anything to happen, our spirits were high as we parked up next to the cemetery, we had been there once before. We walked to the main road of the cemetery laughing and stuff not really concentrating on the task at hand, when all of a sudden my friend yelled out WTF is that, we all turned to where she was pointing only to catch a glimpse of a ghostly figure crossing the road about 50 meters in front of us and then disappearing behind a building. My friend ran after it and saw it again walking up a road surrounded by trees but he lost site of it.

We were all a little freaked out and didn't really know what to think.

Now I'm usually the first to say "ahh was probably some dude" but what I saw just doesn't fit that. The friend who pointed it out to us saw it the longest and she saw it walk most the way across the road, I saw it as it came of the road, over a little grassy hill and then behind the building, while my other friend was chasing it I stayed put to see if it would walk out from the other side of the building which it didn't but the road my friend went up was on that side of the building. I would have seen it if it was heading up there. There were 4 of us, 3 of us saw it.

The ghost was a pale colour, looked like a female but I couldn't make out any real details and was sought of hovering.

What is bugging me is that I had my camera on, ready to take a photo and all I had to do was lift point and click and I would have had a really nice ghost photo but hey there's always next time right.

This is the first ghost that I have actually seen and it feels great. I have had many ghostly experiences before but this is the first apparition that I have seen and I am looking forward to many more.

After the ghost sitting we stayed around a little bit longer hoping to see it again but by this time I think we were concentrating to hard. I took a butt load of photos , most of the photos have orbs in them but I put those down to rain. I have put the best ones into a photo video, complete with scary sounds.

Spooky Friday shadow people

It's Saturday here but somewhere in the world it is still Friday. I was watching this video and it is a little creepy, for me it's mainly because the video quality is so bad but if you watch it you see ghostly shadowy figures darting across the background. Most likely it's just people running in front of a torch or something but I could be wrong.

Red mist, orbs and rainbows from Rose

I got an email from a lady named Rose today which had a few pictures in it, she was asking for people with a knowledge of the paranormal their opinions of them. Thought I caught me some UFOs, Just Orbs though

When I came across this shot while browsing a batch of photos I had taken I thought that I had captured some UFOs, a second later I remembered that they were birds, if I hadn't remembered that I would probably still be thinking that I had caught UFOS on film.

I think it's so easy to mistake objects for more than what they are, really have to be careful. If I had of come on here and blogged about what I thought I had caught in a photograph I probably would have got slammed with a bunch of negative feedback (when I say slammed I mean a comment or two).

This brings me to orb photos, awhile back I posted about how I was going to try and capture orbs in photos in these posts Ghosts Monsters Orbs and aliens, Hunting for Orbs but got me a Dragon, as you can tell back then I had a bit more respect for the whole orb phenomenon but since then I am now taking a load more photos and what I have found out is that orbs a very very common, about 1/8 of the photos I take have orbs in them and I put all of them down to dust, smudges, light etc. Atleast until I see one that looks really cool. So what I'm going to do is try and come up with a technique that'll produce orbs every time and share it with y'all.

Grassy Noll ghost photo

Well it's been awhile between posts, my old computer broke and left me without access to the net. I pulled it apart and fiddled around carefully like, that didn't work, I tried cleaning every inch of it, that didn't work. I tried so many things to get it to work again, in the end I just started kicking and punching it, none of it worked so I went out and bought a brand spanking new machine, it's so much more speedier than my old machine I love it. Funny thing is I tried to boot up my old computer and it now works, every time I start it, dang computers.

Well since I've been gone I've received a few emails from people who seem to read my bloc, it's always great to get feed back from people. Makes me feel good that there is a purpose for this bloc.

I received this ghost picture through email from a person called Cat, Cat gave me some good feedback about this bloc which is very appreciated, she pointed out the objective feel of it which was cool because that is what I'm trying to achieve with this bloc, any how here's the info and ghost photo...

"It was taken in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia. That part of the province is quite hilly. It is also in the area of Fort St Anne, a citadel that was built in the 17ooÂ’s and Port Royal, the 1605 French settlement. Lots of entities would certainly wander here."

I think it'sfairlyy convincing, very crisp clear image of a human like figure making it's way up a grassy bank, I let y'all decide. Thank you Cat for sending me this picture, I like it very much.

I also got an email from the runner of the site Town Called Dobson, It's an online comic strip and what got me interested in it was the story line "It is based on a true story - a UFO cult that talks to evil space aliens on a ouija board. That is the true part!" I like the simplesleekk style of the strips and had me a few giggles.

Back to the asylum

We went back to the asylum again last night, we had a few more friends this time, there were 7 of us. When we got to the site half of us chickened out and we all debated weather or not we should go in, 3 went back to the car and 4 of us stayed. We stepped into the doorway of the entrance and continued to debate if we should go in, while this was happening one of my friends fell over and cut his hand, he took off back to the car and the rest followed. All this happened within about 5-10 minutes so I didn't get to take many photos and the photos that I took didn't reveal anything.

For a first attempt at doing something like this it failed miserably, some people didn't want to be there, some had been drinking and I don't think I had done enough research on the place. Had there been ghost sightings there before, I didn't know I went in blind but as we were heading home one of my friends said he'd seen lots of things around this hospital that he couldn't explain, I really don't know but next time I go on a ghost hunt I'm going to be a lot more prepared.

A night in the Lunatic Asylum

Last night me and a few friends decided to go up to the old Porirua Lunatic Asylum, most of the hospital is now closed, has been for a few years now. The closure was the governments idea to reintroduce long-stay patients back into the wider community, I know some patients who had lived in the hospital for most of their adult lives, it was their home and they were more or less evicted from their home. Most of the buildings have been reutilized but some buildings are derelict and run down.

We hadn't planned on going there, we were just driving around looking to have some fun and happened to drive past it. A few drinks were had I must admit and I don't think we actually knew we were parked up outside the abandoned buildings, we just hopped out of the car and started walking, it was about 4:30am at this point. We walked into some thick bush and as we came to the other side we saw the two buildings, we weren't expecting that, freaked us all out.

As we were about to enter the first building one of my friends said screw this and took off back to the car, the rest of us carried on. We entered by the main entrance I think and the first thing we all saw has a big sturdy wooden chair with a box base in the middle of a hall way, we went in for a closer look and saw that it had a hole in seat of it, it was an old style toilet, we had a few laughs and headed up stairs.

We checked out most of the rooms but the scariest ones were the bathrooms, most of the doors were closed and we scared ourselves silly opening them up, who knows what could have been behind them, we found out nothing was behind them. There were also some rooms with big heavy doors with small porthole like windows in them, I'm thinking they were padded cells. Most of the rooms were pretty much all the same, broken glass all over the place, graffiti on the walls, old furniture placed into living room type arrangements, it looked as if a lot of squatters used the place from time to time.

We got lost for awhile trying to find the stairs but we eventually found them. On the first floor there was a garage that was pretty cool it had three old vehicles in it, scared ourselves daring each other to hop in them and close the doors, none of us did.

When we finished with the first building we went and checked out the other one but that was pretty much the same. We didn't see anything unexplainable which was a shame but I'm gonna head back up there at some point with my camera and check it out when I'm sober.

Video tours of some of the most haunted places in America

Paranormal News has got a press release from Ed Shanahan webmaster of The Unexplained World about what he does.
What caught my eye was the free video tours, two of which are supposed to be of the most haunted graveyard in America, they're fairly long videos and I haven't been able to view them, my connections slow at the moment.

Hunting for Orbs but got me a Dragon

I said in a previous post that I was going to try and capture some spirit orbs in some photos, I have been trying but haven't taken any photos. I don't want to take any photos at my house just encase I capture something (I'd crap my pants), so I've been trying to in some of my friends houses but they always ask me why I want to take photos, I tell em that I want to see if I can capture ghost orbs, they give me a funny look, laugh a little and then get a serious look on their faces, so no joy with the friends. I've thought about going to some graveyards in the area but what I've noticed about orb photos is that they are mostly night time pics or in dark buildings, I don't want to be in a graveyard at night.
I can't think of any other options at the moment, I think I'm just going to have to have my camera on me at all times and strike when the times right.

Video of psychic investigation and request for help in identifying unexplained object.

I was watching 20/20 New Zealand last night and they had a story about a father whose daughter is missing, she has been missing for a year now, the father has been searching the area her car was found in ever since. The story was about him calling in a psychic to help in finding her. The police investigation has gone cold and not being able to lay a daughter to rest properly must be hellish.

In the 20/20 investigation the psychic pointed out a spot and they bought earth movers in to dig but nothing was found.

The story seemed a little biased against the use of a psychic and seemed to focus mainly on the psychic, the psychic in question also appears on a reality TV show called sensing Murder which is about using psychics to shed new light and leads on cold cases, it makes great TV but the show ends with them giving the new finds to the police and that's it no follow up, never hear anything else about it. I'll probably get back to this show in a future post.

I hope that the family can find and put their loved one to rest.

Ghosts Monsters Orbs and aliens

Are Aliens watching us? Who really knows? I don't that's for sure, all I know is that I've seen some strange things in the past. You might call me crazy but I've seen Ufos ( could be weather balloons, LOL ) sea monsters and have had a few ghostly experiences.
I will attempt to tell some of these stories in detail in the future but for now I want to talk about Orbs.

What I know about Orbs would fill a Tic-Tac case, all I know is that supposedly if you go to a haunted place, take some photos you may pick them up in the photographs, little glowing orbs that float in mid air. What I've noticed is that if you go to places like Photobucket and Webshots there are loads of pictures with orbs in them, like these: Orbs and Orb Face, the search term I used was Orbs, the search doesn't have to be so obvious though as most of the people on these types of sites don't usually pick up on the fact that they have orbs in their photos, I find that night time and out door related searches get best results.
At the moment I think Orbs are just dust rain or snow (seen a lot of snowy pics with orbs in them) I'm going to have to try and take some orb pics for myself just to make a believer outta me.
